This morning at 10.00 am they were trying the metal doors at the shop. They had no warning signs or anyone stopping people from coming out the shop. As I was leaving the shop the guy trying the doors dropped the metal door on my head as I assume he didn't see me I also didn't see him. He hit me really bad with the metal door, instead stopping trying the doors and at least asked me if I was okay or hurt, he carried out his doing saying that he told them to stop people and they didn't so it wasn’t his fault he said. I was out of words. What kind of community we all live in where people don't care.nThank you for the couple that witness the accident and with concern asked me if I was okay.

Another Aldi store with all it's bargains food and groceries, ideally located, very close to chalkwell park. Good parking

This is a great ALDI store but they recently changed the only 2 self-service checkout machines from cash and card, to card only, so now those of us who want to pay for just a few items in cash are forced to join the long queues of people purchasing huge baskets of goods. This is very poor customer service with no real rationale for it and it's disturbing that people who want to pay in cash are treated so badly by many supermarkets which now includes ALDI :

This store is untidy and looks unclean when walking around.  Food should have a clean area NOT messy floors.

Brilliant very cheap every thing you need for every event loads of bargains and the monthly shop is very reasonable and great food plenty of selection
