It's okay. Expensive on brands that are much cheaper elsewhere. The my Waitrose card is the worst loyalty card out there. Get weird random offers for things I'd never buy. No other benefits. This store doesn't really like opening more than 1 till
Below par. I've worked in multiple Waitrose stores in my life, finding them to usually be very accommodating and friendly. I went in to buy a pint of milk, which split randomly all over me. At the till there was no apology offered for what had happened not my fault, and I was practically blamed for it. Unprofessional and disappointing.
Dogs in a food shop? No thanks. I had someone's pet wiping it's nose on my trousers whilst I was shopping. Disgusting.
The only supermarket I actually like shopping at. Friendly, calm and nice food, not too big but everything I would need.
It’s a store near me and had the odd occasion to get some items that are only available here. It’s the best place for beer selection in a supermarket. So many specialty options for the connoisseur. Apart from that I don’t buy anything else. Not at their premium prices. It’s clean. No waiting in queues and a large car park area outside. Recommend this for just the beer.
On a recent visit to this store I was very surprised to note that the staff serving at the fresh fish counter were wearing neither masks nor protective gloves. I brought this to the attention of 2 staff members. One of the managers I spoke to asked me if I had not seen the latest Government guidelines. I had not. But, these are only guidelines and I would have expected standards to have been higher when dealing with fresh fish. My main complaint was the rude manner in which I was spoken to.

Suddenly and quietly the mywaitorse 20% discount on meat, fish, delay and bakery have all disappeared. Well this surely is a great set of benefits when they were introduced a couple of months ago. Now they're gone and with them the inevitable increase of groceries prices. Mywaitorse: thank you for nothing. Just choose another store.
