Harrison gave fantastic service.nI went back today to buy a specific plant I had seen there yesterday, only to find none left. I spoke to Harrison and asked if that meant they had sold out as there were quite a few there yesterday and he offered to go look out back for me just incase. He came back and explained someone had brought alot of them in one go yesterday but that he had managed to find me one. It had some slight yellowing so he offered me a small discount. I was ecstatic. Nothing seemed too much for him and the lady on the till was lovely too. Staff are always smiling and friendly.
Great Staff, shame that the place smells like a toilet. The drainage problem has been going on for months now last visited 7th January and they even have absorbing bags in the wine section soaking up the drainage leaks, emailing customer service gets a standard 'we will contact the branch manager' and subsequent emails do not get responded to.nThe car park is full of holes again and still floods when we get a lot of rain, this store is definitely in need of tlc. Not the standards expected by Waitrose.
I would just like to say that I visited the Cafe today around 3pm. The two young ladies working there was absolutely wonderful. Having taken a seat with my coffee I saw them on numerous occasions being so helpful to their customers, particulary those less able physically. They were fetching items for them to and from the tables, ensuring they had all they needed and were happy with their orders. They were polite, engaging and very courteous, and all done with grace and a smile. Thank you.
Always pleasant staff. Easy parking yes. Do run out of most needed items first where they should be prioritised. Queues can be big at high volume time and no thought given to those on lunch break needing to pop in quickly. Had seven people deep with one till open. I don’t work for Waitrose and when doing a medium to large shop spending a good amount of money personal service is a must I don’t want to have to do my iwn shopping then scan it and pack it at a self service till. To much is now given to drive through check outs and loosing the personal touch but still gaining the price tag.nn23/11/25nnClearly not taken on board the above comment on staffed tills. Yet again 3:15 in the afternoon on a Saturday 1 till open. Queue as far back down one isle. Only option with trolley is self service. Ridiculous. Expect customers to shop and serve themselves. Appalling what’s going to happen near Xmas. Start shopping at 9 in the morning by the time you’ve queued be out by new year if you’re lucky.
