Had a great meal in here on a Thursday night at about 6. Great service throughout. Warm welcome and and offer to explain the menu. Drink was prompt. I opted for the set menu for one where you get to choose two types of taco. I went for butter chicken and pork. Food arrived in about 10-15 minutes and looked stunning. Great presentation. The tortilla were good quality and didn’t break when scooping up the guacamole. The Smokey hummus was exactly as described. The sweet potato thing was delicious. The tacos were also great. Five stars for the mix of texture, flavour, and colour. Great experience and will visit again as it’s a chain and they have them in areas I tend to go to. Parking: No parking nearby unless it’s an expensive underground carpark
Not a bad experience! The location is great, and the window view was delightful. Unfortunately, the potato small dish did not live up to expectations - the combination of potatoes, corn and the spices and herbs was not the best, the recipe can definitely be worked on. On the other hand, the mushroom quesadilla was phenomenal! Very juicy and flavourful. Would highly recommend! Ultimately, a mixed bag. Staff are super helpful, but food is served at different times.
Really enjoyed our rainbow bowls!! However, the desserts were a bit too sweet for our liking… understandably we ordered both desserts with dulce de leche caramel but would probably just order one to share between the two of usFood: 4/5
Great experience! The tiramisu was SO GOOD, my fav dish I had. Food was great, service was great, Leah was as our server and she was super attentive and friendly. Only thing was the quesadilla was a little boring/bland but some salt helped. Burrito was good and flavorful and the drinks were good too. Overall great experienceFood: 4/5

We were served by George and I primarily went in with my friends to try their new menu items that included -Roast potato Esquites : Crispy, roasted organic potatoes, charred corn, jalapeño allioli and crema -Bloody María prawns : Responsibly sourced prawns in a Bloody Mary style salsa, served with two tostadas and Tabasco to taste -Tres leches tiramisu : Cream, espresso, and Cazcabel coffee liqueur soaked sponge, topped with whipped cream Tried these alongside buttermilk fried chicken tacos and the sweet potato and feta taquito was incredible as well. Finished it all with a lovely set of churros with dulce de leche sauce.
We went for lunch today at Wahaca and were really pleased with the service provided by our waiter Barney! He was so helpful and accommodating for my gluten intolerance he checked everything with the kitchen and was really communicative so I felt very reassured. The food was delicious and served quickly, there was a lovely atmosphere and Barney even recommended his favourite dishes to us. We will definitely be returning! Dietary restrictions: Barney was very helpful re my gluten intolerance
A Free Taco... Not So Free After All. A Disappointing Experience at Wahaca I recently visited Wahaca with a voucher for a free taco. Excited to redeem my reward, I presented the voucher to the manager. However, my excitement quickly turned to disappointment. Despite the voucher clearly stating 'Free Taco,' the manager refused to honor it, claiming we needed to purchase another item to redeem it. The voucher itself, which I still have, does not mention any such requirement. The terms and conditions clearly state the offer is for a free taco, plain and simple. The manager's refusal, despite the clear wording of the voucher, was frustrating and left me feeling like the store was more interested in squeezing extra money out of customers than fulfilling their promotional promises. This experience has left me feeling cheated and disillusioned with Wahaca. Their disregard for the terms of the voucher and their insistence on forcing additional purchases sends a clear message: they prioritize profits over customer satisfaction and honoring their commitments. I will not be returning to this establishment, and I would advise others to proceed with caution.
Fabulous Mexican food with authentic flavours. For the record: I'm Mexican and love Wahaca's menu, variety of vegetarian options and ultimately the delicious flavours and great service. Try the horchata drink! You won't regret itFood: 5/5
Mixed Experience at Wahaca Mexican Restaurant: As a seasoned food critic, my recent visit to Wahaca Mexican Restaurant left me with mixed feelings. Arriving last Sunday before a concert, I aimed for a light meal and opted for nachos followed by two vegetarian tacos, one featuring mushrooms. To my surprise, the tacos arrived while we were still savoring our starter. While I understand tacos are best served warm, the premature delivery resulted in them turning cold, impacting the overall taste negatively. The disappointment continued as I explored the dessert menu. My order of ice cream with pineapple glazed with agave syrup lacked the promised coconut crumb. This absence affected the dish's intended texture and flavor. Reflecting on the overall experience, I must admit it fell short of my expectations based on previous visits to different branches of Wahaca. Despite the glitches in service and dish execution, I remain hopeful that these are isolated incidents and look forward to the restaurant maintaining the standards that have garnered my positive reviews in the past.nick @doctorfoodielondon Dear Wahaca owner , I must note that your comment is entirely invalid. None of us had allergies; rather, one person simply preferred gluten-free tacos. Additionally, could you clarify the connection between serving cold food and issues with timing, especially in relation to allergies?
