I feel horribly upset specifically for this store. I love Benito's food and I became a regular customer since 2017. Even if a am coeliac I been advised that I could eat everything a part of the wrap. I was amazingly happy! The main issue is not the food, but the staff dealing with it. Every time they prepare a meal they touch the wrap with every singular spoon. Which is extremely danger and quite a same for me not really able to enjoy the food anymore. Once I told to the guy who was serving me didn't even know what gluten even means. Last time I been there on the 18 of December and I told a member of staff if she could change her gloves to prepare my bowl because of my intolerance and she did serve quite few customer before me. She looked at me so disappointed, and she completely avoided me and decided no to serve me. The manager served me but he didn't realized what happened as the shop was very busy. I mention to him about the situation and he replied to me that probably she didn't know about gluten allergy as she was new. The company should provide a proper training regarding food safety and standards before someone dies!
A great place to stop in for a quick and tasty burrito. The prices are very good considering the location. The food is prepared in front of you and it tasted fresh and hot. I had the El Presidente which is a good sized meal for the money. Worth a stop.
Place was ok! Saw the lunch offer of a burrito, nachos and drink for £10.50… burrito was tasty but nothing special, nachos were bland and there were only three fizzy drink options to choose from. Great if you’re not looking to spend too much. Super friendly staff.
Tried this place and was very impressed. Quick and good service with a great atmosphere and good music that had me rocking along with my lunch. I had a naked barbacoa beef burrito kosher style with no cheese fyi restaurant is not certified kosher with nacho on the side as it comes with it. Very filling but not to the point of bursting so you still sit comfortably. I would definitely come here and eat again. Love my home town more when I find little gems like this on the back streets.
Ordered two burritos and they were good. They come with very few nachos, which were very thin and crispy just how we like them. Restaurant and bathroom was fine. It feels like a family run build-your-own burrito concept similar to Chipotle. Prices are the same as Chipotle £10-£13 per burrito.
Chill vibe, great, quick food. Tacos were so stuffed you can’t even see they’re tacos. Good choice of ingredients and cilantro easy to pick out from the pico de gallo for those that don’t like it! and quick service. The server seemed a bit sad tho, cheer up primo, you made me some amazing food! :
I came here today on my own and had a '5 a day' vegan burrito. The speed of service was good. The burrito itself was big so you can get a lot of food for your money. The taste was didn't meet my expectations so I'm not sure if I would come here again.
I had pulled pork burrito set menu and it was super delicious. Big portion and fair price.
A Mexican spot in the heart of London's covent garden. Nice ambience inside but unfortunately the staff weren't all too friendly. The food was nice though. I had a burrito filled with steak, hot salsa and guacamole extra charge for guac and enjoyed it. The portion was good and the meal was good value for money.
My family and I looked this place out as we really fancied a burrito and the reviews seemed good - what a mistake! Arrived at 4.30pm on Saturday 26 Nov 22, the two young lads working there seemed to have the hump when we entered the restaurant, like they couldn’t be bother - on reflection that was probably because they seriously couldn’t be bothered! Service was terrible. Restaurant dirty and messy. But then the young lads were to busy looking moody and doing nothing to tidy up! Toilets poorly maintained. Food not good, burritos not properly warmed through, beans looked like they had been in the warming pan for a week, really disappointing meal and experience. So, my advice, If you walk in here and the serving staff look Resentfully at you like you’ve interrupted them and the beans look overcooked and welded to the pan, then please walk back out and go round the corner to Tortilla, which is exactly what my family and I wish we had done - very poor..
