Fresh and Tasty food choice at Wagamama, Solihull. Very friendly staff especially Jamie who helped & guided us through the complex menu, ha ha. Kokopanko Chicken was Great, Crispy Chilli Mushrooms was good as well.
So I ordered Shiitake Saku Soba Noodles, Crispy Chilli Mushrooms and Firecracker sauce. The sauce was really nice however the food itself unfortunately lukewarm when it arrived and l ended up warming it in the microwave.Food: 4/5
Delicious food at Wagamama Solihull. Fresh ingredients and food always comes piping hot. Really quick service too! It would be nice to have a waiter/waitress assigned to a particular section so you see the same person everytime but I understand that when it's busy this isn't always possible. Would highly recommend! Dietary restrictions: They ask about any allergies when you enter and they also have gluten free options on the menu. Kid-friendliness: High chairs available.
Staff are always friendly and attentive. Quick service and yummy food. My faves are the duck gyozas, chilli squid and pad Thai with chicken and prawns. Reading other reviews I don't think some customers realise Wagamamas deliver food to your table as it is ready. So you can get your mains before starters! Also you might get your main before your friends/family. So my advice is order the starters, eat them, THEN order the mains.
Excellent food and service! I particularly liked the Teriyaki sopa with steak. We also ordered the Chicken Roman and Beef Roman which turned out to be good as well. Kid-friendliness: Kids menu and toddler chairs are available
I recently purchased a vegetarian meal from your establishment after asking staff about halal options and then decided I would have salmon as an alternative as you don’t cater to my dietary requirements, but unfortunately, I found haram not halal chicken in it. I wanted to bring this to your attention so that you can address the issue. It’s important for me to ensure that the food I consume aligns with my dietary requirements. I would appreciate it if you could look into this matter and provide me with the confidence to visit your restaurant again and trust your meal will be according to my dietary needs. Thank you for your attention to this matter. I did bring this to the staff members attention but I was left extremely disappointed and concerned about the lack of understanding and education the staff have. I feel this issue was a personal attack and due to me wearing a headscarf one of your employees decided to add the piece of chicken despite knowing I am Muslim.
The food was great as usual, who doesn’t love a Wags? Special shout to Chad who went over and beyond to talk my mum through the menu and assist with her dietary requirements and special needs. Made our evening! Thank you v muchFood: 5/5
The new policy that you cannot add anything to your online order is ridiculous. The person answering the phone explained that they can get into trouble as it hasn’t been paid for etc. I asked for a pot of ginger to add to my new duck soba dish. I think it’s outrageous that I pay 60-70 pounds for a takeaway and I’m met with an excuse of it’s because the ginger isn’t paid for. I am very disappointed that it took me three phone calls and 3 different people to allow me a tiny bit of ginger. The food is amazing, however this has definitely put a sour taste in my mouth honestly!
Okay for quick fix of Asian food! It’s been around 5 years since I had Wagamama so it’s about time that iv go back and see what’s change….not a lot safe to say! Food is average at best specially the ramen , everything taste plain and needed some more spice but still worth a try if you have not experience Asian food much!
I had heard good things about Wagamama, so my mom and I decided to try it at Touchwood. At the reception, we clearly stated my mom cannot eat anything spicy. When we ordered, my elderly mom specified she did NOT want her dish spicy. However, my dish arrived before our drinks, which is unacceptable, and my mom had to wait 10 minutes to eat with me. Her dish finally arrived but was spicy despite our request. We called the waitress, who denied it had chili, but there were visible chili flakes. They took it away and returned with the same dish, still with chili flakes, saying "no spicy"? I felt insulted. They eventually replaced the dish, but my mom ate 20 minutes after I did. Despite the good food, the service and overall disrespect from the staff were disappointing. As a manager, I always offer at least a small discount to dissatisfied customers, especially when the restaurant is at fault. We paid, but we won’t be returning to Wagamama in Solihull.
