Nice place to spend a hour or two with the kids , price was good and the staff were fantastic . Thanks. **Place is located behind the pub **
Had my sons 6th birthday there today and it was fabulous. He’s my youngest and we’ve had a lot of other play barn parties in the past and this was by far the best. The girls organising were so welcoming, they created such a relaxed and caring environment and seemed to really care that everyone had a good time. The food was great, lots of it and good quality. The face painting was of a really good standard and went down very well. Adults and children alike had a fab time and I would thoroughly recommend having a party there.
Popped in today as passing. Absolutely amazing staff, happened to be our daughters birthday. The lady’s called Imogen and holly made the day brilliant. Kind and friendly and Hollys face painting was awesome! Definitely recommend this outlet of wacky warehouse, I’ve been to others where staff are simply there for the job, these lady’s went above and beyond. Thank you ladies for a lovely visit.
Had a kids birthday planned elsewhere and they didn’t even turn up rang to see if they could go there and they decorated a table done food and face paint last minute! Absolutely amazing staff Imogen and Helen pulled it massively out the bag I’ll be coming again for arrows after that, outstanding service thanks so much you honestly made my daughters day !! Thank you
My wife and I visited here with our 2 1/2-year-old as we were after a bite to eat and for something to do while the weather was bad outside. The play area is in a separate building from the pub. However, you can still order food and drinks which is brought to you. The play area itself is great, its quite a large one with one big open slide and a smaller enclosed spiral slide. There is also an area specifically for under 5's with its own little ball pool and slide. Like most play areas though, the kids run in and out of both. I found the area to be quite dark. Maybe with the addition of a few extra lights, it'll make it brighter. The food we ordered was your typical pub grub, no complaints from either of us. The woman who was working was great; she was very friendly and helpful. Sometimes you go into them, and the staff are there solely for a job when they are useful and friendly, it makes you want to go back if you're ever in the area.
Friendly counter staff, did everything she could to accommodate me and the two kids. Clean, the food arrived quickly and was enjoyed by all. Excellent food prices but a bit more than I'd expect to pay on drink prices £2.25 for a black coffee - but maybe that's an average price and I'm just cheap! Many thanks to the staff for the great couple of hours.
I remember this place being the highlight of my weekend or birthday when I was a child now as a parent being my own child here It certainly isn’t a highlight for me anymore.. it was dirty and grimey, the toilets were that disgusting I didn’t even bother washing my hands because I figured it was probably cleaner than using the sink and the meal was terrible. I wouldn’t of even taken it home for the dog. I will probably never take my child here again.
We took my 2 boys here yesterday for my son's 3rd birthday. There was only 1 staff member there and she was very polite and helpful. Notbi g was too much trouble. Boys had a great time. Tables were a bit sticky but that is to be expected as its a soft play with loads of kids. Love taking my boys here and will start going more often
Took the family here. Spent at least a hour queing up for food, The play house was okay, We expect we all had food poisoning, the whole family in a out of the toilet all night. Both adults have had to take a day off work. So this carvery dinner which was £50 for the family has cost us £250. Wont be coming back.
Toilets not very clean, and to be honest the gym could do with a really good clean. Staff a OK but don't expect them to go the extra mile felt like they really were counting down the time until they finish. However the children has fun so that's the main thing
