Hidden gem fantastic food and staff. Came on Saturday evening and had the carvery. Best beef we ever had. Lovely historical pub. Will come to Leiston again just for this place
A traditional old country pub with friendly service and good food. I had a cheeseburger and chips and the burger had proper cheese instead of those plastic squares. Would happily return
Having walked up the coast from Aldeburgh to Sizewell, this was a welcoming sight. Strangely situated opposite the nuclear power station! Popular with campers as pub runs an area nearby for them to pitch up. Excellent food
The owner of this restaurant was the kindest and warmest person I have ever seen in the world. After the meal, he even took our party to the accommodation in his car. The taste of the food is also surprisingly delicious. I want to visit again someday.
Small pub serving well cooked food in pleasant surroundings. Carvery on Saturday evenings and it looks like live music on Friday evenings.

Well out the way but worth a visit . Landlord is lovely , though at first meet you might think grumpy ,but lovely chap. Food lovely and beer was just right on a hot day. Very dog friendly
We’ve been using the Vulcan Arms for over 25 years. Can’t wait to get back to Suffolk to enjoy the best carvery in existence on a Saturday evening. Great pub, super food, spotlessly clean, and always welcoming. Well done Trevor and staff.
