A lovely pub, quite out of the way but lovely food and good drinks. They have a pizza oven outside and the pizzas were delicious as well as a menu which changes often with a variety of traditional pub grub alongside other meals. Veggie options available too!
This is a proper country pub. Food listed on chalk boards hung on the wall. Order at the bar - get a tab straight away, no booking required, sit at an available table. The food is pub style and very nice. Slightly limited selection of desserts.Service: 5/5
Had a great two night stay at the Eels Foot Inn - welcoming, comfortable and the food in particular, the pigeon Wellington and the full English breakfast was really very nice. Only complaints - no soap and no fresh towels for our second night - still giving 5 stars, as I daresay if I'd have asked, I would have been accomadated for. Will definitely be returning with our pooch.
A great stay, in a beautiful location, rooms are great, pub is cosy, staff are friendly, free wifi, food excellent, beer tasty. Ample parking. A very good stay, I'm looking forward to going back. I gave 4 stars for service, I'm only staying 3 nights, but no-one has been in to refresh tea n coffee etc. I don't actually mind, hence 4 stars, I like no-one bothering my room while I'm here, I'm sure I could ask, staff have been wonderful.

This was just down the road from our AirBNB and we are glad we paid a visit. Great choice of food and Adnams beers. I really enjoyed the Pigeon Wellington and my wife's ham and eggs was very nice. Recommended the Adnams Sea Fog beer. Friendly service from the barman.

Came for dinner on a sunny Sunday afternoon. It was busy, but not packed. No-one seated inside, everyone out on the veranda making the most of the fantastic setting. Food is always amazing, fresh, good value and served reasonably quickly, considering the number of people and the size of the kitchen. There are more dishes on the specials board than the main menu as the food is fresh and ever-changing, so be sure to check the chalkboard inside. There is a great range of drinks, from local lagers to world-wide wines and just about everything that the local brewer Adnams produces including drinks I've seen nowhere else. The children's playarea has a full-scale 'Ghost Ship' to play on, and there are a plethora of boules courts. It seemed some sort of national championship was happening while we were there, but it still wasn't too busy. One of my favourite things is to check the small hut by the entrance of the car-park to purchase locally grown potted plants - always great value, honesty box payment. There are also many lovely walks and rambles that begin from the pub out into the Suffolk hinterland and coast.
Beautiful location and beautiful food! Beers not bad either. Overall it's a fantastic place for a bite to eat and maybe a dog walk! I'll fetfianlt be back!Service: 5/5
