This is probably one of the best cinemas around where I live. It's clean, has good snack choices, and super comfy seats. The staff is always so friendly! I was served today by a lovely black lady I forgot her name, and she's been there before when I bought tickets on other days. She's always smiling and has such a good vibe about her. Big credit to her and the rest of the team because they're all so friendly and professional. Overall, it's a great cinema!

Sorry, but this was not a great experience...nThe air-conditioning was blasting and it was like 16°C inside. With only few visitors either the room didn't heat up they might have expected or they just blast it anyway. If I didn't bring long coat I would have left half way through due shivers.nThe sound was so loud that half of the movie I had to hold my ears covered. I guess they didn't count for that either.nReclines were great and comfy, staff nice, toilets clean but the movie experience itself was just bad.nBring your own blankets and thank me later!

Decent multi screen cinema with all electric recliner seats. Prices are not as competitive as other cinemas but you get what you pay for. Large foyer with plenty of options for food and drink as well. The new Lux seats are a gimmick and not worth the upgrade, the regular seats are more comfortable.

I had a very disappointing experience at Vue Cinema Croydon – Purley Way today.nnMy family and I were eagerly looking forward to watching a recently released movie. At the entrance, a staff member asked for identification, which we provided. All adults in our group showed valid ID, and I also showed a digital copy of mine.nAfter checking our IDs, we were told that the adults could enter but our children could not. This came as a complete surprise, as the movie classification allows children when accompanied by adults. We were then informed that the cinema has a building policy that does not allow children on the premises after 10:00 PM.nnThe most frustrating part was that this policy was not clearly mentioned during the booking process. Had we been informed beforehand, we would never have booked those tickets or made the journey.nnWe had just finished a 12-hour shift and drove for nearly an hour to watch this movie with our family. We were excited and had planned the evening carefully, only to be turned away at the entrance. It was extremely disappointing to see all that effort go to waste.nnUnfortunately, the way the situation was handled by some staff members also left us feeling unwelcome and frustrated.nnI respectfully request that Vue Cinema clearly communicate any restrictions regarding children during the booking process and ensure that customers are informed before purchasing tickets. This would help other families avoid the same disappointment we experienced.nnI hope this feedback is taken seriously and that steps are taken to improve communication and customer service in the future.nThank you

It was my 1st and last time at this cinema. I went to watch Michael. I purchased the ultra lux seats in screen 3 at £17.99. There were only 6 of these seats. Just before the film started a security guard bought 12 friends including a new born baby who wouldn’t stop crying to sit anywhere they like without paying there were 2 ultra lux seats free 4 girls sat on the 2 seats. The other 8 people took other people’s seat. I would have let this go but then the 4 girls in the 2 seats threw popcorn at people using there phones through out and non stop talking. I went to complain to my surprise the security guard said get a life Bruv!!! If you want to go with family or a loved one avoid this cinema like a plague. I will be going to Bromley instead where you get treated with respect. I have videos of this and I will be posting this so other people are aware.
