Enjoyed my visit this evening, cinema was clean and staff were polite and welcoming. Watched the film in screen 5 which was small but was clean and the seats are really comfy, just wish some people would keep there trainers on because their feet stink! nAlso used the carpark located underneath the cinema and cost me £2.50 for 4 hours which I thought was reasonable, it was quiet on a Saturday evening but it gives people a alternative place to park instead of goose green carpark opposite which was still open when we came out around 2245 It's handy having a cinema close by and is still my number one choice to view new releases.
Went to watch Wicked: For Good on the Sunday after it was released, about a week ago. The first 2 minutes they didn't turn off the lights and then throughout the movie the lady two seats to my left had her phone left turned on and on her lap multiple times throughout, not even looking at it. Then another person towards the front of the theatre had their phone on too. My glasses glare when there's lights like this so it was very distracting
Shockingly bad. Vue is one of my favourite cinemas due to the recliner seats and comfort but this was the most runned down cinema I have been to in about 10 years. Was highly and the seat were old and tattered with everyone squeezed in like sardines. I don’t understand how they can charge the same prices as other Vue cinema was are great and new
During my visit today at altrincham vue staff were extremely rude, despite the fact my friends and i met the age requirement of 15 because we supposedly needed to bring ‘ID’ !! What teenager has ID at the age of 15? What a waste of time and money- all we wanted to do was watch a film together, rightfully because we DO meet the regulations so we assumed we would be let in, but that was not the case. Instead we were turned down….day ruined. I believe staff could of handled the situation with more politeness, no understanding was shown, specifically from the manager. Wont visit again.
The staff here seem inexperienced and useless. I had a voucher from 02 get told to scan it in order to get food, then get told no you can't do that you've got to get food then scan in for the film so I tried that and kept getting passed between a 12yr old girl behind the counter and a 15yr old manager who then said my unused tickets had already been scanned in so now I can't go and see the film. The irony of the girl behind the counter training somebody new was not lost on me as she herself obviously had no idea how to do her job.
