Great cinema, offering up to date films and amazing and comfortable seating. Have only so far booked in the premium recalling seats and they are so comfortable. Staff are friendly and the cinema is always clean.

This is a simple one, the parking issue. Went to vue cinema Northampton to watch the new avatar spent £75 on food and tickets for two people. Yes £75 supporting local cinema. As i went into watch the movie i typed my number plate into there number plate tablet and watched avatar with my little boy. I came out thinking my parking fee was covered. No no avatar is well over 3 hrs, which apparently is how long the free parking is for here. I was there 3 hr35 mins but now have a fine of £60. So I will have to pay nexus parking company £60 for 30 mins. Now where has customer service gone in society . We should all see fairness in every situation in life and you can clearly see that the fee doesn't justify the mistake. I appealed to nexus and guess what, it failed. Spoke to vue and they basically said, it's your fault for not reading the signs in the car park. That's fine however, when you go to cinema you don't tend to have to worry about parking fees when you type into there system regardless of how long the movie is. So if your reading this dont go to vue go to odeon at sixfields or cineworld Rushden where the parking is free. And a heads up to all the lord of the ring fans, all those movies are over 3 hrs long.
The reconstruction has made a huge difference. The cinema looks modern, clean, and comfortable, and the overall experience is much better than before. Great upgrade!
The cinema itself is fine but seriously, do not park on site. I received a parking fine of £100 even after validating my parking and the appeal was declined due to exceeding 3 hours - despite the film being longer than 3 hours. An absolute joke, save your money and go to Odeon.
