Outstanding personal service. Made a phone call to Stoneacre in Grimsby and my dream car Volvo XC90 was delivered to Newcastle upon Tyne England just 2 days later. Smooth, hyper-efficient service and I could not be more pleased. Although I am usually hard to impress ... the salesman looking after me top notch and I could not fault him on anything. I could not be more pleased.
Came to look at a used car Volvo. Rick and Andy couldn’t have been more helpful and sorted a test drive no probs. We had such a good time we came back the next day and bought the car!! Lovely bunch to deal with and will return for sure.
Good to buy a car from, however was sold with nearly bald tyres and off tracking, do not buy service package as they will make up issues and charge well over the odds. Was going to cost 450 quid for front brake replacement until i said i could do it for 200, wierdly it then cost 200. After this service my car pulled to the right despite having tracking set by another trustworthy garage no less than a week prior. Also fitted a component without ringing me prior to fitment which i had asked them to do so i could inspect the 'unservicable' item agaisnt the new item. Will never take my car there again. Said my ac needing regassing yet at the next service it didnt flag up so inconsistent testing also.
Can’t recommend this dealership too highly. All the staff we interacted with were warm and professional. Matt Taylor the salesman went above and beyond to secure us a vehicle at short notice and acted decisively and effectively throughout. Post sales care is also exceptional. Thank you one and all!
Buying a New Car made easy by Rick answering the many questions without feeling rushed with efficiency and politeness. Les dealt with Finance and certainly makes you feel at ease when making a big transaction. These guys are a good efficient team that deserve this mention. Thank You to All.
This is the 7th or 8th consecutive new XC90 that I have bought from the team at Stoneacre Cleethorpes and it’s predecessor John Morris, all of which have been serviced at the same dealers. I would not dream of going elsewhere for a new or used Volvo purchase and subsequent service needs. Friendly, competent and professional in everything they do, it’s always a pleasure visiting the showroom, even if it’s just to have a chat and a coffee. I would recommend, without reservation, the teams in both sales and service for all of your Volvo needs
Just a shout out to Tom Smith at Stoneacre Grimsby. I have bought numerous vehicles from Tom and as usual he is the complete proffesional. Im probably a lot more fussy than most as I am a retired motor dealer, but Tom always takes the extra time needed to make sure I get what I want. I took my XC90 which I purchased new from Stoneacre in to Stoneacre Volvo on Altyre way Grimsby for new rear brake pads, the car has cream leather interior which had all been cleaned the day before, paid my bill and went to the car, the drivers seat was absolutely disgusting, no seat cover had been used and the seat was filthy, for a main dealer this is uncomprehensible bad service.They took it back in and the valeters got the seat cleaned but my car will not be going there again. Absolutely Disgusted. Russ Millington
This is the second car I’ve bought from Stoneacre and can’t fault the service, Rick has been an absolute gem throughout the process, any small issues sorted straightaway. Recommend to any one looking for a new car.
