I am delighted to have found Lee at Walker Tech. His in depth knowledge of Volvo cars In my case a 2003 V70 D5 SE 165K miles I've owned 15 years is extraordinary. My car went in with a steering issue that my normal mechanic thought "might" be the rack but he did say he wasn't sure and I should try a specialist. Lee diagnosed the UJ in the steering column as the issue. Upon my request he diagnosed several faults on my car that have been present without resolution for several years including no cruise control - which was a clutch sensor. They were also rectified. He kept me fully informed of progress and predicted costs and was very easy to deal with. I was pleasantly surprise with the total bill, which itself was broken down and very detailed and he was no more expensive than my "general" mechanic. I cannot recommend Lee and his services highly enough and I will be using him in the future for all things "Volvo".Services: Exhaust
Only a small job to replace a broken wing mirror glass, but impressed that Lee offered to replace the broken parts rather than the whole mirror as a main dealer would have insisted. Parts obtained and fitted very quickly, along with a lot of good advice on future servicing to keep car in best condition. Will definitely use Walker Tech. again.Service: Body & Trim

My XC90 hadn't had a service in a little over 2 years, not that it was crying out for it but it need a service and it was getting close to cambelt change time, the mileage was a little low because of the pandemic and i was looking for a place to take my car. i had tought about a dealer service knowing it was going to cost an arm & a leg to have it done, google seach and found Walker Tech. booked the appointment and away we went, the place is a little off the main but straight forward enough, told the team what was required, a full servce, cam & aux betls changed filters and both front ABS rings and the like, also haladex service and boom that was it i had a loan car for 24hrs, lunch time the following day got the call the car was ready and wow that a difference, had the handbrake shoes replaced also the cable, they are a brilliant team and very very very reasonable i would recommend them all year long just great and cheaper than the volvo dealer and origional volvo parts used for replaced parts THANKS Walker Tech 5star serviceServices: Oil change
Took my Volvo V70 P2, 2.4 D5 for a service + mot recently and was very impressed by the professionalism, quality and expertise. Communication was on point and explanation of what was needed. I was also given a courtesy car which was a bonus. Highly recommended.Services: Oil change
Lee really knows his onions and it's very obvious that he's a real specialist in everything Volvo related and has basically seen and fixed all the common issues time and again. Pricing also appears fair and only for what's required. I wouldn't take our Volvo anywhere else!
