VMH handled my property purchase in Edinburgh. It was a great experience and I felt in capable hands all the way through the process. Costs were fully transparent and the use of an online portal to exchange documents was very helpful too. I would definitely use VMH again. Well done!
As a first time home buyer I was quite anxious about the purchase process. Team at VMH made the process straightforward and has been responsive and informative throughout the process. Fees were reasonable. Would recommend highly.
I am a first time buyer and VMH Solicitors made the process as straightforward as possible. They were helpful and always answered any questions I had. Thanks especially to Elaine, who was the main point of contact and responsible for the regular correspondence.
I do NOT recommend VMH Solicitors. The only thing they seem to be interested in is taking your money. As a buyer I did not feel VMH was acting in my best interest. In theory, they should put their client's interest first, yet during conveyancing I felt they didn't care about achieving the best outcome for myself, their CLIENT, if it meant making some extra effort and a bit more back and forth with the selling party. There were also various admin mistakes which wouldn't have happened if Chris Hocking who dealt with my case had been more diligent. Don't repeat my mistake and chose a different solicitor.
Got the job done, but we had just about lost confidence in VMH by the time the transaction went through. Emails were not helpful or proactive, and there were several admin mistakes. Overall we first time buyers felt the company took us for granted because we had a secure purchase lined up, and didn't bother to provide any guidance in plain English.
Went with VMH for buying our first house after a friend recommended and the process was excellent. Happy to answer questions some probably obvious and everything was completed well in advance of deadlines. Stacey and Nicky took the stress out of the process entirely. Would recommend.
I used VMH for both selling my property and buying my next. They were absolutely fantastic from start to finish. From advising me on selling, to valuing and marketing the property, to making offers and completing - something which is all very stressful - but the allayed all stresses and took control of everything. Everyone I dealt with was so friendly and helpful, and always got back to be really quickly - again allaying any stresses. Cannot recommend highly enough. Five Stars from me!
