Disappointed the tourist service do not actually offer a free service for finding accommodation for people who are tourists to the area. Hardly a friendly warm welcome to St Ives ! Blaming the council for the charge is not very helpful either.. Newquay Tourist Board have always been outstanding and helpful. The employees are employed and get paid to offer a service to tourists and the community. Maybe the council should review this, because there have lots of negative comments regarding the Tourist Board service and approach to prospective customers.

I visited the Information Centre yesterday (Sunday 28th May) and I was blown away on how helpful the staff were and the range of stock they sold.

St Ives a very beautiful village but with a lack of facilities for disabled people wheelchair access was so limited we couldn't get into shops cafes bars or restaurants. Unfortunately we had to cut our visit short and spoiled our day and experience of St Ives . I shall there for not recommend this place for disabled people.
