Went on the mackerel fishing trip which is about 1 hour 30 minutes. The skipper Lewis? and Adrian? are great blokes and gave excellent advice. Me and my son in law really enjoyed it. To be honest it's worth the money just for the boat trip and the incredible scenery, the fishing was a great bonus..

Great trip in moderate weather. Bit of a rough ride but to be expected and they made it fun. Took us right into the rocks of seal island to get a close look at the seals. Experienced crew knew what they were doing.
Brilliant mackerel fishing trip today with Bluefin/Yellowfin. Great boat, staff and rods, reels tackle all provided. Skipper and Xavier were both excellent. The whole company was very well run. Took 4x mackerel home - delicious on the BBQ. Highly recommend it as a great activity and well run company. Thank You.
Every year we set off to Cornwall knowing Sam will and bluefin will be waiting, Beautiful boat... Top quality gear... Skippers not to bad neither he knows a thing or two. Not over priced like some Definitely worth a trip out.
Very disappointing. Spent over an hour on the water and my girlfriend and I only caught 1 fish each, despite the salesperson on the pier guaranteeing we would "definitely catch quite a few" when I questioned how likely we were to get some fish. The crew aboard the boat were rather unfriendly too, and all we were given for instruction was a quick 1 minute long demonstration. Between the 10 people on the boat, only 16 fish were caught in total. Pretty poor, to be honest. I spoke with the salesperson after the trip when she asked us how it was, and when I asked if there was any chance of a refund, partial or full, she said we don't do that. Overall, spending 30 pounds to go out on the sea and spend an hour just casting a rod out and reeling it in over 20 times for 1 fish after we were told we would catch plenty, breathing in the smell of diesel fumes from a boat that wasn't turned off at any point, even when we were stood still for a long time, wasn't a very pleasant experience. Definitely do not recommend.
Me and my husband did a 4 hour deep and wreck fishing trip with bluefin charters fishing and it was simply the best. I would recommend them to those who love fishing. The customer service is excellent. Sam and Danielle are excellent host, and their team is awesome. Sam made us feel so welcome. Their boat is having all the facilities including the toilet which we did not have in the other trips. We went fishing with them on the second caught some pullock and they fillet the fish and gave us. Both me and my husband had a wonderful time. We had booked another trip with them on the 4th of june 2022, but unfortunately the sea conditions were not good. Daniella suggested we go on Monday the 6th of June but we had to leave for London. I was sent a text reminding about the trip and also we were acknowledged for taking part in the fishing trip which no other fishing organisation did. This made me feel so great. People you should do a fishing trip with bluefin charters. Highly recommended. Thanks Susana and Gerard
Check in staff were lovely and so helpful! We weren’t sure about boarding as I’m not so comfortable on the water however my husband is a keen fisher. Nevertheless, I’m so glad we did as I felt so safe and in good hands at all times while on the boat with the skipper and boarding on/off with the skiffer. We were able to catch 16 mackeral which I’m told is very good for this time of the season when the water is still warming up and others on the boat were also catching many! Full boat of 12 people but plenty of help to go around if needed but wasn’t necessary as all instructions was crystal clear! The crew were both friendly and knowledgeable and the check in staff again were so sweet and humourous while still being professional and polite. We will be back later in the summer and will definitely be booking in again with Bluefin Charters!
Booked a short Mackrell trip for four and had a great time. Skipper was helpful as was the deck hand. All four of our group caught fish as did almost all others on board. Boat was clean and well maintained, tackle also well looked after. I've been on a few trips where you basically get a hand line and a few feathers not this one. Obviously have their eye on repeat visitors. Highly recomend
We went on a trip on Yellow Fin boat to Seal Island. The weather was very calm, and although not very sunny, we saw a good number of seals hauled out on the rocks. We had fun at the end of the trip getting off the small boat, as there was a very low spring tide, and we ended up wading knee high back to the jetty. The staff on board the boat were careful to ensure we were all safely back on the jetty before leaving to collect other passengers. A good trip, we would do this one again!
