Very disappointing with long queues of 5 or 6 trolleys to get to the checkout point. Quite a few of the shelves were empty ie. 6 eggs for £3.85 were the only ones they had on the shelf. We were told it was because they have stopped overtime and that there is stock out the back. Not good enough Tesco, particularly after the huge profits you made during covid.
What’s the point in having a clothing section if you’re going to have the fitting rooms permanently closed? I’ve just been in on a Saturday with the intention of buying 3 or 4 pairs of jeans and there is hardly any sizes available in the range, but I still selected around 10 to try, only to find out I have to buy them all to be able to try them at home. There are clothes piled high outside the fitting room of people who have left them and walked away. Either open it or get rid of the clothing section. Waste of time and money.
Unfortunately simple items like greetings cards aren't available at certain times of the day. The store blocks off the upstairs section and that means you can't buy the items you need. Poorly thought out layout and staff not able to help you. A store best avoided.
Lovely big store with Everything you could want from a supermarket
Been shopping at this store for decades and always well satisfied with the products and service. What has happened in the last 6 months? Either the manager or some marketing guru at head office has decided to re-organise the store completely and now no one can find anything! There is no logic to the revised places where goods have been re-sited. Coffee and tea have merely been put the other side of the aisle, some items have been moved from the front of the store to the back and visa versa, some flavoured crisps have been scattered in various gondolas throughout the store but not all, cook-in sauces have been relocated but to make things interesting some are on the Chinese section, some on the Indian and Italian sections and some just dumped in a new section! The overhead signs to each aisle seemed to have been left in their original positions just to add to the excitement. Customers are wandering around muttering to themselves as to where they can find things. The store has even found it necessary to erected notices to tell you things have moved and - 'If you want help ask on of our colleagues' - has anyone tried this? They appear as lost as the rest of us! I was going to complain to the manager but no one was at customer services desk to get him apart from two people at the cigarettes and lottery counter dealing with a queue of 16! Nowhere on the Tesco website is a means of emailing them unless you want to use WhatsApp - presumably because they don't want to hear from their customers? What a debacle - I can only assume Liz Truss and her cabinet have part time jobs at Tesco describing how the stores should run!
The staff of photo was so rude, I tried three time to get passport photo and I couldn't any time, they always say stupids reason for not attending me. Tried other tesco Poole BH12 4NX it was much better, the person attended me was nice and help me a lot.
Where has everything gone? Like the video games section, we don't need travel suitcases, no one can afford to travel anywhere during living crysis.
Need someone sorting out parking. So many people parking in parent and child without children. I avoid as i have a 5 month old and refuse to endanger her life by parking miles away from store!
Ok, so they have the worst petrol station known to man for a start, never have all pumps working and regularly run out of diesel. it IS the worst. Secondly, the customer service desk is a joke, regularly has one member of staff having to tend to a full queue of idiots returning slippers. you know you ALWAYS have one of these infront of you
Good range of products but I am growing increasingly irritated at Tesco discriminating against those of us who use cash at self-service tills. All of these tills can be set to accept both cash and cards - so why is this not done? Why should I queue for longer when, as far as I am aware, cash is legal tender in this country? UPDATE: One year on. 12 self-service tills. Just a single one of them taking cash on October 24. Cash till has a queue; card tills don’t. How is this meeting the needs of customers?
