They never turn up when they say they are going to. They make every excuse not to do the simplest of jobs. The motorized central heating valve has been sticking for some time periodically and they said when they turned up it wasn't doing so wouldn't fix it. They ridiculously asked me to call them out of hours if it did it again and to video it. The senior cowboy plumber didn't even bring any tools in or open it up to look. Just a visual look and a flat refusal. Couldn't be bothered in other words. He preferred to question my knowledge and experience telling be that he was qualified so there for he knew best. I have to call the out of hours service which means disruption to my two young toddlers and potentially more money for them. Don't whatever you do employ these cowboys. A job really that any qualified plumber would hear the explanation of the problem we faced and instantly know to replace the motor valve. This is not our first bad experience of them. They came out to replace a ballcock. They asked to borrow our hoover so they could suck out the excess water from the tank. Previous to this they were supposed to fit a radiator and despite having arranging three appointments with them they never turned up to do the job. On the last time of trying was told they would be out that afternoon. Had a call from one of the so called professional engineers he said "Yes I am on my way. I have a radiator and a load of copper pipes and it all looks very exciting." Another no show. The issue we have is that they are contracted by our landlord to do everything to do with our plumbing and central heating so we have no choice in getting this idiots. If you own your house and need a plumber don't call these idiots. You would be better off calling the Chuckle Brothers or the Krankies.

Second review I'm making. Yet again Vinshire employees are claiming to show up at my house to check my boiler, but there has been no knock and no card through the door. I have now been told that if another appointment is 'missed' then they will have to cap our gas. After rearranging a previous appointment, I asked customer service to make sure it was done between school hours. Yet again no one has shown up and I am having to put a letter by my door for the serviceman asking if they could wait around while I pick up my child. Completely sick of this company. Put in a complaint to both Vinshire and Derwent Living Housing Association.

My boiler has now been broken for 3 weeks!! This company is terrible and I definitely would not be using them if I had the choice, but unfortunately they are the contractors for my landloard... There seems to be vertullay no communication between office staff and the engineers, I keep booking the job in for the engineer to fit the part and for 3 weeks has been turning up before I’m home from Work! I finished work early on the Monday to get home to a voicemail off one of the office staff saying it had been booked in for Wednesday.... no sorry, no as to why the engineer wasn’t coming out that day or nothing!!!!! I called back to get answers and the office staff are rude as always and have very poor customer service skills, they kept me hanging on the phone until an excuse was made as to why no engineer was coming out... apparently my part was in a van all the way in leister, but still there was no sorry for the inconvience or nothing from them at all! So then it had been booked in for the Saturday as the Wednesday was no good to me and getting even more time off work to leave early, I got home from Work on the Wednesday and yet again a card through the door... as the office staff did not cancel the Wednesday. This time I called my landloard and told them everything that had been happening over the past weeks, they called them to check that it was still booked in for the Saturday for me which they confined and said it was between 9am-5pm rather than 9am-1pm which is what they originally told me. I waited in all day Saturday and got a text at 3:32pm saying engineer on his way, and did he ever turn up...NO! I stayed in all day for nothing and offices were closed when I tried to call. Rubbish company, bad service, office staff terrible and the problem they are fixing is the same thing they repaired 3 months back! Do not use them.

Customer service advisors are rude and abuse their authority due to the fact that their calls are not recorded. Broken down boiler took 5 engineers to come out within a month. Two of those engineers forgot the parts in Derby. Did more damage than good. And to top it off I had to call national grid hours later after smelling gas near the boiler area. Wouldn't not recommend this company. There qc team don't call you back either.

What an excellent, set of tradesmen from boiler fitter's to builders, very polite proffesional team, i even teached them to use the one cup machine for tea and coffee. A big thumb's up, thank you, from maggie and jeff.
