NO ENTRY FROM VINEYARD STREET! I never managed to get into the car park. I've never been to it before and don't live in Colchester. Followed Google maps directions, drove into Vineyard Street, off Queen Street - only to be greeted with a dead end and bollards blocking entry to the car park. I guess the entrance is on the other side but I had no time to investigate. Rubbish directions from Google maps.
Went to Colchester on a shopping trip. Found the vineyard on Google maps. It was easy enough to find it was quite busy. It's quite cheap for parking in Colchester. It's easy to get to the town centre and the Hoy Street. It's a lovely little walk. I finally had a great time in Colchester
Used the car park after 6pm evening rates until 6am & paid 1.15 which included a booking fee. Decent & safeish.
Postcode listed sends you the wrong way to the car park. Vineyard St is closed half way. Check map before you go. It's a small car park but convenient for shops.
This used to be a great car park if you just need to nip in the bank or the chemist or just want to do a quick shop. Now loads of spaces have been removed for cyclists to pass through. The price has also gone up.
