Britannia Car Park in Colchester is one of the better car parks i have been to. It is the cheapest after 6pm only £1.60p until 6pm the next morning, all the machines are cashless, but they are easy to use, and unless you download the app and pay with your phone, you get a physical ticket to display in your car. It's a very large car park with decent sized spaces. Don't be late back the wardens are overzealous.
Good sized car park so they're making good money yet they won't install or fix the payment machines. 1 per entire car park and all 3 others are dead and have been over a year.nThe cars parked closest to the payment machine are all employees of colchester town business district
Perfect location for my dentist appointments and anything else I need this side of Colchester town. I wouldn't choose to park here if I wanted to go shopping as it's a bit of walk with lots of shopping bags. Prices are quite reasonable compared to other town car parks, could always bit a bit cheaper when you just need 1-2hrs. Overall a decent car park with generous spaces, never have a problem finding somewhere to park.
Britannia Car Park offers good, spacious parking with easy access to the city centre. It's an affordable option with great availability of spaces. Accessing the car park itself is straightforward, and a particularly nice feature is the pleasant path leading directly up to the church.nnHowever, it's worth noting that a few of the pay machines can be out of order, though luckily there wasn't a rush for the working ones during our visit. Be aware that parking officers are frequently spotted checking cars, so make sure you complete your payment!
Probably most used car park in colchester and is a good size. But… the machines are always out of order… not everyone can use these apps or wants to!nPlease get the cash machines working again
