Mixed bag of a restaurant. Food is very average, service is nice but sometimes inattentive and the setting is very nice. The setting of the restaurant is really nice. Low ceilings and nice decor inside. Feels very intimate. There is a balcony for more seating that overlooks park street. The food is very average. The pizza was just like a classic take away, nothing too special. Pastas were very average too. Nothing special at all.
Our waiter was so accommodating and the food was great!! We were seated promptly although it was quite busy and all the food came out rather quickly even though being made freshly. The food portions were great, and you could even decide between half and full portions which is very considerate and convenient. I ordered the bruschetta for starters, and the seafood pasta full portion I forgot what it was called for the main. It was the best seafood pasta I’d ever had and the price made it even better!!
I'n baffled why this place has almost 5 out of 5 star reviews! I ordered the inferno pizza which was supposed to have minced beef on it, well check my picture. That's the weirdest mince beef I've ever seen! It was highly processed tiny cubes of "meat". Very off putting and pretty much killed my appetite. My friend ordered the meatballs and spaghetti, he specifically asked if there was pork on the meal, which he doesn't eat, but unfortunately there was. The waitress when we questioned her said it was beef, but beef isn't almost white! His meatballs also had either bread or potato in them to bulk them out. In short, the food in this place is awful! From the outside I thought the restaurant looked quite charming and authentic, and the inside part is. Not much of a fan of the outdoor seating area, its very much like sitting in a greasy spoon. If you want good pizza go down to the bottom of park st and try Pizzaroma. Much better!
A very vintage traditional Italian family restaurant, love their food. The roof top area is also cool and relaxing. You must try the family pizza, the size of this pizza is unbelievable. But sorry to hear that they are going to closed down in January as they have to been force to move out Trye property after they have been there fire over 50 years.
Wonderful hidden gem in Bristol. The restaurant looks very run down from the outside, looks like a cheap cafe, and you wouldn't know that inside it is an Italian treasure. When we visited the restaurant was empty, therefore there wasn't much atmosphere, but I imagine that when there is more people the atmosphere would be lovely. There is a roof terrace too which is probably lovely in the summer months. The service was quick but honestly not the most friendly- but there weren't any issues either. The food was really really good. Authentic Italian and portion size was very good too. The photographed pasta dishes in the photos are the 'half portion' size. It was extremely cheap I thought! £68 for 3 people, all having two courses and alcohol. Will definitely be re-visiting!!
The taste of the food is incredible, Italians only use the best quality. I hope this restaurant stays open I love visiting!!Food: 5/5
This was an amazing experience for me and my wife and friend. It is a nice cosy place with authentic Italian homemade-style pizza. The location is perfect for anyone visiting Bristol even for a day. Vegetarian options: You can get vegetarian option for the homemade pizza which I doubt you can find anywhere else around...
Amazing place, the food is delicious and feels very homely and comforting. The staff are really friendly and always serve you with so much kindness and is the closest to an Italian trattoria that Bristol has. Does the food and atmosphere much better than many of the pricier Italian restaurants
Tucked away just off Part Street, Vincenzo’s is a welcome surprise. Interior-wise, it’s a little dated but there’s plenty of tables. We had a groupon voucher to eat here. It includes either a starter + main or main + dessert & a cocktail/wine. Believing the former to be better worth, I ate the mussels in a white wine sauce to start and the cannelloni. I enjoyed slurping the creamy sauce from each mussel - loads too! My cannelloni was lovely as well. Meaty, cheesy and piping hot. Their waitress ensured we were satisfied at every point in the meal.
Had a lunch time Pizza the Vicenzo, which is pepperoni. It was a bit overcooked but was seasoned with too much salt, the base is homemade and thin, the pepperoni was thick and spicy. The chips were nice.
