Really great restaurant! We had the chefs special which was absolutely the right decision. The food was traditional Italian but elevated and the flavours were great! The cocktails were perfect! The service was fantastic and staff were very attentive. Only thing that was slightly off putting was the music. Early 2000s pop didn’t feel the right vibe for this place. But overall loved the rest of our visit!
Outstanding. 10 stars. Hands down the best food and dining experience I have ever had. I can praise Casamia and team highly enough. I don't want to spoil any surprises. If you can go, do. Wonderful food, first rate hospitality. What an experience. Thank you.
First time eating here and was the best spanish/Italian tapas I've ever had outside of Spain! I'd give it 10 stars if I could! We chose the chefs choice tasting selection and it did not disappoint! 13 dishes that were all fantastic and left you wanting more! Best dish was the double agnolotti with pumpkin puree served with a burnt butter sauce. OUTSTANDING! Service was excellent and their gin & tonic selection and wine list was amazing too! Definitely will return!
Date night in Bristol, we don’t get out much these days. I wanted a restaurant that wasn’t to formal and Casa was recommended. We decided on the taster menu and it was exceptional. Each small plate was presented beautifully and tasted better. The staff were wonderfully welcoming, a real cool crew. Thank you for making our night very special.
This was without a doubt the best meal of my entire life. The food was incredible and as was everything else. The staff are all lovely and attentive. The wine recommendations were perfect. The whole experience was amazing.
This little gem is a delight to the senses, a perfect dinner from start to finish. We were greeted at the door by a friendly host who showed us to our seats and took our coats, the restaurant was modern and clean without being sterile or pretentious. Our waitress was lovely and helpful and explained the concept to us, was back speedily for our drinks order and as we had been studying the menu and new what we wanted we also got our food order in fairly quickly. Food came out at the perfect pace - we had a small table and it never felt crowded, usually as we finished one dish the next one would come along so the timing was impeccable. As there was two of us we ordered just over the recommended 4 dishes pp, so we went for Caponata with Focaccia, Mushroom arancini , Fennel sausage garganelli, Double Agnolotti - pumpkin / Gorgonzola cream, Monkfish in basil dill and parsley, Slow cooked overnight beef cheek with paprika, Polenta fries, Leek gratin and for desert Pannacotta with candied pine nuts and Tiramisu. We also had a glass of rose pet nat and a bottle of Primitivo. Every dish was packed with flavour, had incredible complexity and was seasoned to absolute perfection. We were basically in shock of how good the food was, not one thing didn't hit the mark. On top of that the waiting staff that brought each dish out were clearly passionate about the food and told us what the ingredients were and the process of how it was made. Not to mention the play list which was nostalgic and upbeat and felt like it had been made for us - TLC, Jurassic 5, Neneh Cherry, Eminem.... Basically a classic nineties/noughties hip-hop RnB playlist. For what we had and the calibre of food, we thought the cost was super reasonable. We will be recommending to everyone and definitely coming back for more!!
A truly unique taste experience! Hard to describe for those considering, so here goes…. The food was amazing, as above, a taste experience… unique flavours with smoky undertones due to the fire cooking. Loads of courses but didn’t leave feeling uncomfortably full despite 23 plates! Staff had a fun and relaxed attitude and seemed to be enjoying themselves as much as we were! We loved that the guy told us they use some of the left over sauce for oven chips after their shift! Head Chef clearly very cool guy, who can cook 23 courses over a roaring fire for loads of people, timed perfectly and DJ at the same time? Was great to watch ! Great music which was loud and pretty random - one minute playing Biggy then Hans Zimmer? It was loud enough to actually make it feel quite private as you couldn’t hear other people’s conversations but it wasn’t so loud you couldn’t chat! Tables nicely spaced away from eachother and chairs were super comfy albeit pretty random in style. Overall would fully recommend for my friends up for more of a experience and happy to sit and chat to their Casa Companion for 4 hours! We loved it
End of an era and still upset this place has closed down. My favourite restaurant in Bristol! Amazing tasting and wine pairing menu.
Oh. My. God. The pasta was so good I nearly cried. Amazing food, wonderful people, and just a fabulous night out. Do the tasting menu and you will not be disappointed.
Absolutely exquisite food! The chefs menu provides a great journey through the offerings. I could definitely come back to try my favourites and any I didn't try. The service was phenomenal! You really feel like everyone takes pride in all aspects. Highly recommended.
