Currently awaiting response from customer service. I will reflect my review when I have had a response/solution from customer services.nnI stayed here Village Hotel in Room 103 and had an awful experience. The hotel hosted a party directly below my room with loud, thumping music until 1am. At no stage during booking or check-in was I told this would be happening, nor was I given the chance to change rooms or cancel.nnThe noise made it impossible to sleep, and when I complained at the desk I was simply given a free Starbucks by way of apology. I left my details for a manager call back, but instead I only received a short “sorry” message via Booking.com — with no offer of a refund.nnThis is not acceptable. Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, hotel guests are entitled to services carried out with reasonable care and skill. Putting guests directly above a party until the early hours without warning or alternative provision falls far below that standard. Under the Consumer Protection from Unfair Trading Regulations 2008, not disclosing such material information could also be considered unfair practice.nnI have had no proper resolution and no refund offered, so I will be taking this matter further. Guests deserve transparency and a decent night’s sleep — neither of which I got here.nnStaff were very apologetic, however management didn’t bother to speak to me.

The room was very bare. Just a couple hangers on an open rail, no safe, or anywhere else to secure anything. Staff provided some extra hangers on request, but that's it.nnFood was decent but nothing special.nnThe gym is very nice however.

Had my daughters birthday party in VWorks, couldn’t fault a single thing from the booking process to on the day! Massive thanks to Vic, Lucy and Magda. Kids absolutely loved it

A Starbucks at the entrance of the hotel is very convenient, as well as sets the theme and expectation one can expect from this establishment. An excellent location for visiting Manchester and Liverpool area.nnThe hotel is located in a relatively remote area of Warrington that felt safe and quiet. The rooms were comfortable, clean and spacious, as were the shower and bathrooms. The place was quite busy over the weekends as it was frequented by locals for various events, but such liveliness was well kept away from the bedroom areas which was much appreciated.nnAn overall pleasant and comfortable stay that was just slightly depreciated by the lack of enthusiasm from one of the receptionist when we asked for additional towels.
