Nice hotel in a good location. We were able to walk into town in about ten minutes. Ample car park and near the main road (A483). Staff were helpful and pleasant without exception. Room would have benefited from a safe for my laptop but that is really a minor point.

Restaurant  was pleasant.  Food  The starters were soup which was really nice followed by a very nice selection of starters.  It then went  downhill.   Beef was tough turkey was OK and other option was ham  (not something that you would have with  a gravy  dinner ) hard veg I know they are supposed to be better  for you  but they definitely  spoil  my meal (and most people I know)   no roast parsnip.  Dessert  a cheesecake with lemon mousse. A chocolate mousse  with cream or fruit salad. I Was offered waffles with a sauce. Or apple crumble. I Opted  for Apple crumble very disappointing   one and a half slices of apple in a ramekin with some very hard (unable to eat) crumble with cream .  Overall really disappointed   Staff were very nice.  But I will not be going  back...

Stayed there twice. Check-in was easy. Good size room with big toilet. Rooms were clean and beds were comfortable. Plenty of hot water for shower. Easy parking with big carpark. Highly recommended.

Great hotel in.a great location. Food and drinks are brilliant if you are a member 25%off. Gym and training facilities are excellent. Nice pool music a bit loud. Bad parking it's always full

We recently celebrated a birthday party for roughly 70 guests. We were directed to the suite efficiently where the seating plan was displayed. A good meal was served by well trained staff and I was offered an alternative starter as I don't eat cheese. The main course of lamb was hot, well cooked and tasty - a point worth mentioning when catering for larger than average numbers. Pudding was Eton mess served in a biscuit tuille and assembled prettily. 
Service was prompt, efficient and unobtrusive. Full marks to the staff.
