Way too warm in the rooms. Its not even hot outside currently. No AC or fans.nnPool is great.... The hvac outlet has been turned to avoid dirtying the cieling further can see historic grubby staining...now it points to the pool downwards so I guess people breathe it in.nnFantastic gym.nnGood poached eggs.
Went to Village Hotel at Chilwell.nnFirst, my son tried to add 4 more people on top of the original 6. No availability, but when we got there, it was nearly empty.nnNo menus on tables. We ordered for 4 adults and there were 4 children, who ate free. No vegetarian option, so we had to pay for an extra meal.nn4 roast dinners came out and only 1 children's dinner.nnThe so-called stand-in manageress was so rude and told us we were very lucky to be out as a family with our dad, as she wasn't because she was working. So out of order, as three of us have had dads and grandads pass away. She made it all about her. She slammed cutlery and salt and pepper on the table. My son lost his appetite and only a small portion was eaten by the rest of us.nnWhat a shambles. Absolutely disgusting. Would not reccomend, would not even put 1 star.
Sheila, Rhiannon and Caroline were my servers at breakfast and were great. A very friendly welcome and tables turned over very quickly. Spotlessly clean restaurant and buffet area with a good selection of hot and cold food. Can’t wait to come again.
I would like to appreciate Philecia at the reception for her excellent hospitality during my stay at the Village Hotel. She was very courteous, welcoming, and professional, making me feel comfortable from the moment I arrived. Her warm attitude and friendly approach truly made a positive impression and added to my overall experience at village hotel Nottingham.
I had my wedding here on 11.4.26.nThe staff were amazing, the service was really great too. Everything went so smoothly.nThe food is incredible, we had so many comments on how nice it was.nI would definitely recommend here for a wedding.nnI have also been here for tribute nights, and have had an incredible time. The food was incredible then too.
