Parking for the Motorpoint arena is available for use on the day of an event. It is well lit but expensive at £10 a time. There are a number of other parking facilities nearby such as Lace Market. Generally the building is smart, clean and tidy. On arrival there is a strict security check which causes queues but no-one minds. It's necessary. For Ice hockey matches this is the National Ice Centre home of Nottingham Panthers Ice hockey team which are staged throughout the winter until spring. A well laid out arena with lots of well maintained seating and not too cold. This is also used for concerts etc. There is a separate Ice rink for public use. Lots of well maintained toilets but huge queues at intervals of events. There is a large Nottingham Panthers merchandise shop which is well stocked. The big let down is that all the the food and drink stalls are expensive. All in all a great family venue.

Ice rink is good fun for adults and children. You get around 4 hours on the ice for your ticket which is a pretty decent price. The boot rental is included in the ticket price, the boots are good quality and they have a wide range of sizes (I'm. A size 12 a day had no issue). You can pay a little more for a child's assist device to help them stay upright on the ice but most definitely worth it if you have a new to the ice person (even an adult) - you pay for this at the place they give you the boots so you need cash for this - at time of writing this it was £2.50 Other facilities include a reasonably priced restaurant, with a nice range of food and drinks on offer - the only down side is the paper plates and plastic utensils. There are also multiple vending machines available.

Excellent venue for concerts etc. Good crowd control and efficient in getting you in and out. Concert area offers seating with some room but more would be nice. Taking between rows is excellent. Stage is good size with large screens also. Parking is very limited and Nottingham is short on parking but does have good tram system. Good is actually ok. A good venue.

Welcoming and we'll equipped arena. Plenty of seating for music events and well trained staff to allocate those seats to the ticket holders. Plenty of bars and food on site, although typically pricey. Lots of toilets which are kept clean.

Saw the Script. Had seating tickets. Great views but goodness me..... Those stairs are STEEP!! Especially coming down. And not always a handrail to hang on to. Often wandered when we've been standing at previous gigs why no one gets up to dance in the seated tiered areas.....it's because the vertigo kicks in!! BTW The Script were brilliant as always. Security at entrance was really quick to get through.
