We were very impressed overall by the hotel, staff and food. The electronic check in is really time saving but you can only make one key, we had to ask for two. We attended a Motown tribute event at £25 per head and although it was very busy the food was piping hot and very good quality. The entertainment was excellent and the staff were friendly and attentive. Overall very good value for money. The bar prices are reasonable for a hotel, under £4 a pint. (Although my cider was shorted every time, the bar person argued that they were allowed to leave 5% for a head. What head?) We stayed over and the room was spotless and very well appointed, the huge bed was extremely comfortable and the pillows and duvet were lovely. There was quite a wait in the morning to get in for breakfast and they had run out of a lot of the hot food so we waited again. This was between 9.30 and 10, maybe a busy time? The breakfast buffet was generally well cooked and good quality, the pot of tea brought to the table was very nice. There is a good selection of breakfast foods and fruit juices, you have to make your own toast. Check out was very simple and fast.

So far the best hotel where I have stayed in UK. Very comfortable bed, right size of the room and the bathroom. The gym and pool area were just great. Starbucks in the hall very handy. We tried both of their restaurants and very tasty food and friendly staff. I will definitely come back.

A quality, contemporary hotel with a superb fitness suite and large swimming pool. The rooms are spacious, clean and inviting with comfortable beds and a selection of pillows, whilst the walk in shower room is perfect for freshening up after a long day at work. The staff are friendly and are not afraid to have a chat with you which I find to be a welcome change from most hotels who adopt a very formal relationship with their guests. EDIT: I'm changing my rating down to 2 stars. After trying to order 3 days to order room service I've had to walk down to the restaurant to order the food. Seems pretty pointless really. It's a shame as initially the hotel was promising.

Very disappointed!. We are members of the Hull Village and decided to spend a night at the Leeds Hotel so we could do some pre holiday shopping. The room view was of a wall and beer cooler fan, the air con rattled all night. The restaurant messed up the orders, the beer pumps were not working so there was only semi cold bottles available. Our room only had a black out blind and in the morning whilst the blind was up workman appeared to clean the windows whilst we were still in bed!!. Bar area was in need of a good clean. The staff however were great.

I go to Leeds Village South a fair bit to attend weekly business meetings & team trainings. I have found that the staff there are friendly, helpful & well organised. The rooms are usually well stocked with pens, paper & mints which is always a bonus! Sometimes we've been let down by the technical setup, but it's usually resolved quickly. On the whole a great place with excellent staff & facilities.
