As a member of St David's Gym, I can highly recommend it ! There is an excellent variety of classes, along with the friendly motivating instructors, who always deliver great friendly classes!  It's such a friendly gym and there are social events arranged on a monthly basis for all gym members to attend/enjoy!nnA special mention to Ann, who keeps the gym, changing rooms & studios clean & tidy. Nothing is ever too much trouble for her, always friendly & smiling nnKeep up the good work

Membership: Very easy to join but, 90 day leaving tax notwithstanding, very difficult to quit. Gym wise: out of the 4 local gyms, it's the most expensive but has the smallest selection of weights/machines which are pretty old. Also customer services, if they do respond at all, are not prompt.nPros: they do have a small pool.

I have been a member of the Village Hotel St David’s Chester for nearly 2 months and I have to say it’s the best hotel around. From when I first enquired Nicola and Modestas on the membership team were very informative of the membership options and prices and very patient while I decided which membership option to go for. When ever I sign in to the gym Naomi is extremely friendly and helpful. Naomi is dead chatty and has a positive attitude no matter what shift she is on. The classes are second to none with special mention to Sam, Claire, Conor and Jake for Spin, Sprint, Body Balance and Body Conditioning. My induction was with Karin she was helpful, friendly and understood my fitness goals. Hopefully I will be able to try out more classes in the near future. The gym is always clean and tidy. The only negative comment I have is that being an asthmatic the spin room could do with being a bit more airy and the class booking system could perhaps be looked at as some of the popular classes you have to set your alarm for midnight to be able to get in them.

I’ve been a member for 8 months and think it’s a great place to workout!.  The trainers are fantastic and very accommodating.  Always a pleasure to see the friendly staff who go above and beyond to help.

Great gym, great staff and a bunch of great members! Always exceptionally clean, from walkways to the gym floor itself. Shout out to the ‘shake n vac’ lady herself, Ann!!
