This is an absolute disgrace. I understand the cost of everything is going up but £8.50? This is 1 supper and a single smoked sausage, my 12 year old had checked the price board and realised he didn’t have enough to get both of us a full dinner while I was waiting outside as couldn’t get parked. A supper from anywhere else in ek would have had twice as much chips making it passable, and as you can see the quality of the chips it’s shocking so you can’t even argue quality over quantity. I even phoned the place afterwards to double check the pricing, the guy on the other end of the phone couldn’t be less arsed either. I did look for an email address or Facebook page to message privately, unfortunately this seems to be the only method of contact. I’m just off a 12 hour shift with 3 kids in the car and unable to park or I would have went back myself. Really really really disappointed in the cost, service and quality.
This has to be the worst chippy I have ever bought food from. The fritters were floppy the fish was over cooked the batter looked like it was reheated and the chips were only warm as if been lying for sometime. Won't ever be back Avoid.

Pop in may be once a month normally on a Friday. Staff are always friendly. Normally a quick service. Just have to wait a bit for a special fish as cooked once ordered. Just be aware that they only take cash. There is a note in the window.
Really disappointed tonight, no idea how fish had been cooked for but it was limp soggy mess, poor standard of fish. My partner got single fish and fritters, said one fritter was just rubbish batter, other 2 were thin and not right potato. This used to be great place but seems they just cooked massive quantity then wait for the punters after the pubs. Save your money as I just wasted mine.
Chips are great. Just a wee reminder to staff to keep up the hygiene. No hand sanitizer for customer and with cash only payments i feel its a must. Friendly staff too.
Great fish and chip shop. Staff are very friendly and the food is always piping hot and delicious
Do you want proper traditional fish and chips from a proper fish and chip shop ? Do you want nostalgia too ? Good ! Go there and be a happy camper
