Love the Tower for both family meals and nights with friends. Staff are lovely and always serve with a smile. Menu has a good range of food for all (including those with allergies). Food is reasonably priced and good quality. There is a great atmosphere in the bar with a jukebox and pool table. The entertainment is fab. This is the place to be for a good laugh. They show most sporting events and host fundraisers for charity. The only thing I would say is the restaurant could do with refreshing i.e carpet, lick of paint, fresh toilets but all in a good wee local place.

Nipped in here today as heard it changed hands. My favourite was on the menu.. steak and ale pie..... emmmmm Not great at all... I think the steak part of the pie had a spoonful of ale in it when it was cooked...Dry dry dry Staff were lovely and pleasant however in the time we were there the waitress/ waiter cleared half a dozen tables but never once cleaned them with a cloth... Not impressed...

In today, 27th Feb 2018, great food, barmaid/waitress was lovely, very friendly and made us feel so welcome, the food was delicious, we both had fish and chips and the portions were massive, really filled us up, would highly recommend 5 stars all day long

Went to tower bar today with my husband. Not been for a while but oh well not be back. Cold chips, hair in hubby's burger and wanted to throw up . Warm beer, chardonnay that was not. Terrible
