The staff are very friendly and the food has always been good at good prices, unfortunately I will never eat from here again. 3 quarters of the way through my meal I bit down on something, spat it out, only to find a staple in my food. Phoned them up, they said bring it back and we'll do you another meal and give you your money back. Why would I want to eat from here again. It's a real shame, I thought it was the best takeaway in the area. Needless to say, I won't eat from here again. Just to answer your reply. I didn't say I got the meal on a Tuesday. I just happened to leave the review then. You knows exactly what I'm talking about, I phoned you on the day. I can't believe you're trying to say I'm lying. You've lost me as a customer and I'll make sure my family and friends don't go there again. Everyone else can make up their own minds.
Waited a hour then phoned when food didn’t arrive to be told it’s on its way.. called 20 mins later when still nothing to be then told they didn’t even have my order think someone telling porkies. Weird how it was on its way then had no recollection of the order.
Clean shop and pleasant staff. Quick service, lots of choice on the menu.

Not so sure if this happens on the regular for others; first time ordering. Unfortunately the chips were bland and the Chinese was very watery and not tasty at all.
Great value and quality food. Their Chinese food is recommended, as is their fish & chips. The chips may not be the best you'll find, but they're on the good side of average for a chippy, and their portions are massive. Telephone orders for pick up are usually ready in 20 minutes and are rarely delayed. Delivery is available.
They do great salt and pepper chicken
Great service, large selection of foods. Always well cooked, good prices quick from ordering to food being ready. You're made to feel welcomeand your custom appreciated. 10 out of 10.
Only been and ordered once but the food was delicious and portion size was way to much for me. Quite a large order was ready in ten minutes. One of the better Chinese Take-aways in the area!
I have been trying all the Chinese restaurants in the area,,. And so far this is the best in my opinion' the food was hot and tasty and reasonably priced! Well done, village chippy and don't let your standards ever fall
