The Far East takeaway is one of the best and oldest takeaways in Newton. The staff inside know people by name and will happily engage in conversation. The food is fantastic and it's a treat to buy, we've been coming here for decades and nowhere else locally compares to them. They are not however on Just Eat (but do deliver) so it's best getting a menu from then as you pass and keeping it safe.

Disgusting.... Hard chicken, possibly not defrosted properly. Deformed reconstructed meat not worthy to be called chicken. We have ordered from here on a number of occasions when our normal takeaway closed. A number of times disappointed but this time was the last time
