Good food good value for money friendly staff

Went to Malone's on 20/1/18 tried the new skimmers breakfast they have, when it arrived it was certainly a skimmers breakfast hardly anything on the plate, the poached eggs very over cooked and hard centres, 1 x piece of bacon cut in half, thin slice of tomatoe, i asked for extra mushrooms which they charged me £1 for and they were hidden under a small piece of toast, when i complained the waitress was very defensive by saying they are their I'm not lying, strange staff? Also only one slice of toast, very very poor for £3.50 and whoever cooked it needs to improve their cooking skills, I used to like Malone's but over last few months its gone down a lot, however, crumpets cafe is much much better, nicer food, and much more excellent service, from now on I will be going to crumpets cafe.

I always visit the cafe with my son when l drive over from southport..Amazing food and the staff are great...l am a former soldier with the Royal Green Jackets l left my medals in the cafe by accident this week... the manager and staff found them and returned them to me...l would highly recommend anyone..to visit...Thank You so much x
