Rock hard fishcake, rubber chicken. Chips reheated.. smashed up pie. Anyway took the food back to chippy, he gave us some money back. Won't be going back, really disappointed
Absolutely vile, chips that hard they crunch.t hat's the big fat chips.. all brused. His attitude stinks. No care and a smile wouldn't go a miss.
It’s very hit or miss. One minute they are selling normal chips next minute they are selling battered chips. Don’t assume you’ll get something cause you likely won’t. Ask them which chips they are serving before wasting money.Food: 3/5
Vile chips clearly all bruised and tried to cover them up in as much batter as possible same with the two scollops we had took of the batter and they were bruised threw the whole lot in the bin pie was tasteless and curry sauce like a pot of water never again Shane really cause we used to like that chippy gone down hill by the looks of it worst chippy tea we ever had never againx

A nice friendly welcome, Chicken tikka, battered chips, salad in a tray. Perfectly cooked, the spices in the chicken tikka is divine, fresh salad, battered chips are to die for, will be visiting this shop again. Well done to new owners, keep up the same standards please.
Went on my lunch break yesterday haven't been for a while, under new management. I must say the chips were awesome! Will definitely pay a visit again :
Popped in at ten o’clock on Saturday 23rd April . Haven’t been for a few years, won’t be going again!! Bought a mini fish, sort of battered sausage and one lot of chips!! Too expensive for the portion size! Now I know it was 10 o’clock but when we got home we live just around the corner the chips were not only luke warm but they may well have been classed as SCRATCHINGS not chips , not a soft chip amongst them!! The sausage wasn’t covered completely in batter and well the fish it was hard! I’m sure it would have bounced if I had drop it!! Paid around £7. Not worth the money! Whatever time you go you should expect hot, decent cooked food!! I wanted to go drive to MaccyD’s wish I had done now !!
