This is my second visit back to Villa Di Geggiano and my friends and I will definitely be visiting again! The first time we visited we sat in the main restaurant area for my friend's birthday and the staff were absolutely on point with their knowledge of wines and everything on the menu. I ordered one of the pasta dishes and it was divine! Our second visit was for more of a casual get together and this is where I was introduced to the lovely 'snug' type areas which are perfect for catching up with friends / having light bites etc. From the moment you walk in you get a warm feeling, almost like you're at home. I will definitely be visiting again soon!
Fine Italian dining. Unique atmosphere and intriguing pieces of art scattered around the main dining area. They have private rooms for hire too. And an outdoor space, perfect for a summer night or lunch. Food is authentic Italian. Pasta is made fresh from scratch and they have weekly specials too. Both seafood and meet dishes are delicious. The rib-eye steak was cooked perfectly and was accompanied by a delicious sauce. The pappardelle with wild boar sauce were outstanding. Great selections of Italian wines, including house wines. Desserts are classic with a twist in either the flavours or the presentation. Very professional staff.
Beautiful and atmospheric Italian restaurant. Good for romantic dinners and family gatherings. The service was a bit slow tho. And mocktails weren’t nice. It’s rather expensive but the food is of good quality. I can’t say it’s super delicious but it’s also not bad. It’s just alright. Nothing special. The portions are moderate.
What an absolutely gastronomic experience, the taste of the beautifully prepared food was sublime for everyone in our party of four. This was also the best service I have ever received from any restaurant on all our UK and foreign travel ventures, the ultimate!! Highly recommended to say the least , Bravo, bravo to you all
Villa di Geggiano is an Italian restaurant on Chiswick high street, offering a unique dining experience. We sat outside for dinner which was a lovely spot. We were offered olives and bread when we sat down, which ended up as £3 each. Bread was good though. Highly recommend the scallops to start. They were excellently cooked and tasty. The meat and cheese board was also a pleasant starter. Their pasta dishes came in main and starter sizes. Cacio e pepe was tasty and cooked well. The monkfish also tasted good with the green pea purée. But I was not a fan of the well cooked and semi burnt asparagus underneath the fish. We ordered tiramisu to finish and that is highly recommended. For drinks, they offer some great reds by the glass from their own vineyards from Italy. Both of the ones I tried were lovely. My wife ordered the triple berry cocktail. It was sweet and refreshing but extremely strong in alcohol. Staff were ok. Some really nice and attentive but some felt a little on the rush and rude side.
After 9 years in London, I finally found a proper Italian restaurant for a weekend lunch. Fantastic, great, amazing experience and affordable! It was my girlfriend bday and I wanted to treat her for something different from usual central london restaurant, so it was our first time and we will definitely be back! Highly recommended to who wish to dine outdoors with the Sangiovese grapes around you! Thank you!
Amazing food. Impeccable service. Wonderful wine. Gorgeous atmosphere. We started off our evening with cocktails in the restaurant’s quaint lounge which feels like someone’s living room. We we then led to a quiet table where we happily spent the next 2 hours eating and drinking and laughing and relaxing and becoming extraordinarily full. It was the perfect anniversary celebration and we travelers from the US felt very fancy and like we were their most favorite customers. I had the wild boar ragu. My husband had the guinea fowl. Both were out of this world. Also, the best tiramisu I’ve had outside of Florence. Well done!
The food were amazing, the location simply stunning and the service was perfect. Loved every minute of my lunch there. Happy to return as soon as possible.
My family and I enjoyed our lunch in the outside terrace. The service was fantastic thank you Giuseppe and the food was simply divine. A truly authentic Italian restaurant which focuses on pleasing customer by their service and food. A family friendly restaurant and a must visit when in London as this is truly a hidden gem in London.
Fantastic bistecca t-bone steak Fiorentina served at Villa di Geggiano, juicy, tasty and perfectly cooked, medium rare, as requested. Amazing table service and very professional and welcoming staff. A gem in London, always a pleasure to come back.
