Usually love Viking Cafe but very disappointed with tonight's delivery. The chips and kebab meat had been sat on top of my pizza box and the topping had then stuck to the box. Couldn't be bothered waiting again so kept it but hopefully it doesn't happen again

Don't normally leave reviews, I placed order on a Wednesday night at 8.50pm order was processed online and had to wait over an hour and half, when phoned was told it was just being made and would be with me shortly which most likely would be another 20mins or more, asked to just cancel my order and get a refund was told to phone back in 15mins for them to get someone to cancel and refund me. Service has really gone down hill recently and customer service is really poor. Used to love this place.
Ordered 2 weeks ago, was awful and left bad review. The owner Wael, contacted me and asked me to give them a second chance and offered a free meal. I agreed and took my post down. Our free order was fine. I requested the biryani had no chickpeas or frozen veg through it - only peas, and that’s exactly what we got. I have just picked up an order tonight - lamb biryani, Chasni sauce and peshwari naan - again requesting no chickpeas - only peas through it. Got home and it is packed with bland frozen veg. Called the shop, got a guy called sunny, very rude and told us tough, thats how it’s made and hung up. Tried to call back and call was ignored several times. Witheld number and called and he answered. Refused to let us speak with boss, saying he is busy, became aggressive and told us “no means no”. Have tried to contact Wael tonight, no reply. I wont be giving this place anymore custom. The rudeness is shocking and customer service is even worse. No wonder they are struggling with competition when thats how they run a “business”.
have been a regular customer since the viking opened. Tried things from quick snacks to full meals. honestly never been let down by the quality or taste of any food. Ordering is simple, either through user friendly website, or call the friendly staff direct. delivery is always quick, so food always hot and fresh. definitely my favourite takeaway place in ayrshire Keep up the good work guys!!!!
Arrived with barely any heat in it. Ordered a gyros don’t know what I received as it looks nothing like the gyros you have advertised on your Facebook page. The chicken chatt was inedible tasted strongly of perfume. Lamb shish had no taste of lamb don’t know what meat it was..Also ordered from kilwinning shop but when tracking came up it’s came from the saltcoats shop. Had originally left the review on food hub but seems it’s been deleted? Think you’ve got my order mixed up with someone else’s as it took well over an hour to come and no one came back to collect anything
