I was visiting Seaton for the first time and found this hidden gem for a delicious hot tea and sponge cake. What made the experience unique were the warm owners’ welcome and educative and historical 20th Century’s decoration. Recommended experience!

Very interesting place to visit with the old war memorabilia and the owners dressed as if in the 40s. Tea was served in a teapot with tea leaves, with traditional cups and saucers. The service was good and we're friendly. However they were far too over priced. There were no menus or price lists around, so we ordered 2 cups of tea. My husband brought 8 postcards as well and the bill came to £13.50 we worked out that the tea were £3.20 each. Other than that we really enjoyed the experience.

If you are looking for an authentic 1940's home front experience, then the Victory Emporium & Tea Room is the perfect place for you!  You are treated to a very warm welcome,  excellent food and drink, wonderful war time music and fantastic memorabilia to look at and buy.  A highly recommended place to visit and enjoy.
