Hidden Gem in China town. Lobster and Steam sea bass are best quality and so fresh. Sirloin steak Chinese style is mouth watering. YuTze tofu in hot pot is amazing signature dish here. Chicken and liver in hot pot is unbeatable. I can't stand the queue and crazy crowd in other places, this is an oasis for me. China town at it's best.
Wonderful dim sum place if you like this kind of food. Beautiful hidden gem with fishpond. Ultimate authentic experience . Very clean! Our tea was constantly filled up. Our service was wonderful and didn’t experience rudeness like other reviewers.
The food was tasty, and they had many vegetarian/vegan options! The atmosphere was nice, and the restaurant was clean. Now that said, I was charged £45.20 when my bill was £42.50. I don’t know if it’s an honest mistake, or he the host wanted to pull a quick one on me—nonetheless, I won’t go here again.
We ordered the vegetarian platter ie Hors D’oeuvres for starters which came with spring rolls average, tofu average and a bit bland, seaweed crispy and soo delicious and string beans again, very delicious. I tried the pan fried pork dumplings and thought they were good but a bit average same goes for the sauce it came with. For mains my friend ordered a tofu dish I think it was Ma Po tofu which was sooo good! I got fried lamb with cumin and it wasn’t nearly as good, plus was quite chewy probably over cooked. I don’t know how the lamb dish was marked as a chef speciality. Both dishes went well with egg fried rice. The entrance has a cute little bridge which is adorable, however, we didn’t see any fish in the pond. Service was alright, however, you do have to wait patiently for a waiter to notice you. Probably wouldn’t revisit or if I tried I’d try some dim sum
Good address for dim sum, one of our favourites in Leicester Square. I love the fried taro balls, the fried bean curd skin stuffed with prawns and the cheongfun with dough fritter and cuttlefish paste. The cooked dishes were quite nice too.
I have been to this restaurants couple of times for dim sum and I think they are pretty alright for Chinese standards. It’s good when you have bigger group of people to dine in together. Had some meals in the past during Chinese new year and it is pretty decent food too. Would recommend this if you are running out of places to go to fit in larger group of people.
Back after four months, prices have gone up significantly, service charge etc, but foods still good tho portions are the same. previously: Authentic, good seating. Tad more pricey than other restaurants nearby.
Regular customer here. Wife is from HK. It’s our favourite dim sum place in London… and the quality is comparable to HK. Her family all agree! It’s a real HK dim sum experience. The service style isn’t what us Westeners are used to but it’s authentic and nothing bad. If you like dim sum then this place is 4.5+. For me, it’s 5. I recommend: Prawn dumplings har gau, prawn and chive dumplings gau choi gau, bbq pork in puff pastry char siu so get chilli oil on the side, beef balls au yok kau and ‘cheung fun’.
I might change the rating if I go for dim sum but for dinner, my crispy noodles with seafood was good but not superb. I’m happy with the service and the ambience.
Traditional Chinese restaurant, the lobster and sea bass are the ultimate dishes. The food is top notch Chinese standard with a private dining room available. Not too fancy interior, minimalist Asian style.
