Nice toilets, reminds of the ones featured in Carry On Screaming! Nice seeing see through cisterns and the brass pipework
Well worth a visit to the Gents if you want to see these amazing Toilets. The ladies are not quite so interesting but the Gents are well worth a visit. Warning to the guys if you are using the toilets be aware people will pop in to take photos whilst you are in there.
Beautiful Victorian toilets. Really clean and well maintained too.
Never thought I'd ever take pictures or review toilets but here we are.. very elegant 10/10 would pee here again.
I have never been, and used ;-, such a luxury toilets as these one. Perfect Victorian design. Highly recommended even you need to pay 0.40 GBP per entry.
Fantastic place and superbly maintained. Lovely to see the beauty of the Victorian architecture and decor used to maximum potential. Such a great experience. No wonder there's even a street direction sign showing it as Victorian toilets. More places should follow this brilliant example
Took some photos of free Victorian toilet worth a visit and it’s free to use has old pictures inside of back in the past my photos will be added later
Never thought I’d write a review of public toilets, but these take you back in time and give you a sense of just how wonderfully grandiose the Victorians were. How must it have been to have walked into these toilets when they were first opened? There are also hot showers for £2. Money well spent
Beautiful Victorian design and what a luxury, very clean and a great experience I was sailing around the Scottish Islands and Rothesay was my base. No need to pump the heads and queue on my ship..step ashore and do it in luxury! Well worthy a visit, takes you back to the olden days!
A bit overrated but if you need to spend a penny you might as well get a better experience than in the average public loo. It is only the gent's toilets which have the original toilets and while everything may have looked good in even the recent past, tiles and fittings are showing signs of neglect.
