Interesting place with a bit of explanation on the information board very nearby. Made us visit the Museum the next day to find out more.
Three stones doesn't quite make a circle. Nonetheless when combined with a walk to take in the nearby Largizean Stone, and other nearby ancient monuments towards Garroch Head, you can spend an afternoon satisfying your inner archeologist! Be warned though that the buzz of seeing a plane coming into land on the nearby airstrip will jolt you back to the present day.
