Story

Victoria Rogerson graduated from Loughborough College of Art & Design in 1996 with a Degree in Textile Design(Multi Media) doing her Dissertation on Wedding Dresses.

Vicky’s fabric designs featured in ‘Trends Collezioni’ magazine whist still studying. In 1997 she was the first student in the history of Loughborough College to win Best of 20 designers in the UK, which enabled her to exhibit in Paris at ‘Indigo Trade Fair’ selling Haute Couture design to Louis Feraud, Oscar De La Renta, Diben Lingerie and Massimo Rubini.

Whilst living for over 12 years in Hong Kong she designed Christmas decorations producing collections for Neiman Marcus, Katherine’s Collections, Kurt Adler, Raz Import, Target and many more retailers in the US market, designing angels, fairies, elves and many other products relating to Christmas mainly concentrating on fabricated products.

Vicky’s creations are fun, magical, theatrical and sometimes somewhat a little over the top, due to her love of embellishments and was known to her friends in Hong Kong as the ‘Xmas Queen’ and still to this day tries to convince them that elves and fairies DO exist.

Whilst in Hong Kong she specialised in Trend Prediction, costume designs, development and sourcing all kinds of products, artwork sketches through to manufacture.

Vicky was also Design Development Manager for Tesco’s in Hong Kong for 18 months. Vicky also did the Xmas Decorations for Hong Kong Airport , the Landmark Mandarin Hotel and many other shopping centres and hotels during her time there.

It was then time to return to her family in the UK and she says she is now finding how wonderful it is to be back here. Vicky says she has had such fun buying and preparing for the Wedding Dress Outlet, have met such lovely people and the thrill and excitement of finding and providing each bride who comes in with the ‘dress of her dreams’ at a realistic price is a fantastic experience .... being able to embellish too if they wish to create a one -of-a-kind gown for such a Special Day , complete with LED lights if so desired --- the fun is endless!! Fairytale dresses are all about exquisite details, stunning fabrics and the dress of your dreams, which all add to the drama and romance of the Bride’s Special Day.

You can simply try on a wedding dress, buy it and take it away there and then – or put away with a deposit. You can also choose from the stunning range of hand crafted hair accessories to show your individual sense of style.

The dresses are ex sample, end of line gowns and overstock dresses to buy off the peg at HUGELY DISCOUNTED PRICES. Sizes range from Size 8 to 30 and stock arrives on a regular basis, at present there are well over 400 gowns to choose from.
