Story

Back in 2005, myself and my girlfriend Caroline decided to take a leap of faith and open an independent Menswear store. I had a wealth of retail experience and felt high streets in towns especially Ashton under Lyne needed a menswear store that offered something different - after all us guys love clothes just as much as women!

We stock lots of brands such as Religion, Farah Vintage, Converse, Abandon Ship Apparel, VANS, Fred Perry, Cuckoos Nest and Suit Denmark. Great product and the shop’s pretty cool too.

Room 14 Menswear is still shining 8 years on with myself and my now wife Caroline still at the helm. Every week on the shop floor is a highlight in itself with all the usual football banter and to see someone leave the shop with one of our bags with something that’s going to make someone’s weekend still gives us a massive buzz even now
