A warm friendly welcome awaits visitors to this local village amenity.nWe was walking along the River Lune cycle way and came across a sign saying coffee and tea served at the institute.So in we went..80pence for a nice brew and bicky.Everyone we saw greeted us with a cheery good morning and before we continued our walk we used the spotlessly clean toilets..Our first visit..Definitely not our last.
A fantastic resource for a lovely village. The institute offers a whole range of services from a coffee and IT drop-in centre through room hire for clubs and societies to booking the whole building for the weekend for weddings and other special events. There is a fantastic member of staff on site who can help you with all your requirements. I have used it for a special event and can thoroughly recommend it.
A well maintained building with a large hall and several smaller rooms, all ideal for holding classes and social events. It also houses a community library, and a computer room for use by the general public. There is a kitchen too.
This is a great local asset. With many different rooms to hire out at very reasonable rates. I have hired diffrent rooms for birthdays, murder mystery, presentations etc all have been brilliant.
