Staff were absolutely lovely and thorough. Saw a young male doctor with glasses and a young female student doctor, unfortunately cannot remember their names. Both were very friendly and reassuring.
Went down to surgery today, people sleeping outside with umbrellas up food all about not very nice when people are poorly having to go round them should be moved along. Just do what they like years ago it wouldn't have been allowed.is it because the of the chemist having to give them meds to get off the drugs,now been told the chemist is shut down.
Worst GP ever. Had to stay here because it's the only one near. No appointments available. No one answers the phone. Never get my results notified. If they are hands full, they should stop joining new people and direct them to the nearest or get more staff. Seriously. The bookings open at 8:00 and I call at 8:00. I get reception at 8:10 and they say there are no appointments available which only means they never give appointments. Very very very pathetic. I suggest you stay away from this place.
I went for a Dr. appointment on friday, arrived at 3:58pm spoke with the secretary to do my checking, as my app was at 4:15pm; the same told my app was at 4:30pm. I saw the Dr. twice, saw a last pt leaving and the doctor do not call me, a Nurse realised I was there a more than 1hour and asked why. when we realised that the receptionist had not done my check- in so the doctor didnt know I was there! I was seen by the doctor at 5:30pm. that is a completely lack of respect, as I left early my work to attend on time for my app. Also when questioned from other colleague about my check-in the receptionist tried to lie about. and receptionist and colleague was having a laugh about me been nervous.

Visited there today 24/08 to have a copper coil fitted. They ran a little later then my appointment time by about 10 minutes but once in Anne was great with the consultation before the procedure & during the fitting. Pete assisted and was also really professional. Both put me at ease and were efficient with the appointment from start to finish. Would recommend if you are considering have the coil fitted. I was refered by my GP.
Problems with equipment working so had to leave to a different room. Was given my injection in a room with the curtain open to the outside. Took over an hour from the scheduled appointment time to leave the clinic. Would not allow me to book in my new appointment which is due at my current appointment, unlike everywhere else I have ever had the injection.
I have visited several times Victoria Health Centre, to be treated by my GP. I have always received optimal care. Their support during the pandemic was remarkable. Special thanks to Dr. Elias and Dr Wheeler who have treated me with real empathy and honest care. The nurses of the centre have always been caring and professional. NHS should be proud and reward accordingly medical teams like this! Sometimes "thank you" it's not enough to express the gratitude of a citizen to a public health centre.
Normally have no problems with this place but am not happy with how my day went today. Had an appointment for an implant removal and got to the clinic and realised the lift was broke so called for help as I have a baby in a pushchair. Got told to leave pushchair in the doctors waiting room and carry my baby up and I asked how would would work as I'm having an implant removal and the lady assured me it would be fine and there are health care assistants who can help. So i waited for a while to be told by the doctor that they can not do it as I have the baby and I mentioned that the lady said it would be fine and they said no. So I've waited for no reason, left work early for an appointment for no reason, had to pay for parking for no reason. Re-booked my appointment to be told not to bring my baby with me next time ... so now got to suffer for another month with the problem that I have. So I am not happy at all and think they really need to communicate better.
Just went to have my contraceptive implant out July 2022 and I was so impressed with the service. I had my doubts about going due to the high number of bad reviews and low star rating but my local GP had quoted a 10 week wait to have the implant out so I thought I’d try the health clinic as it’s 2 years overdue to come out. My initial call to book an appointment was answered within 30s and they gave me an appointment for 5 days later. They registered me quickly and easily over the phone - the man on the phone was very friendly, and I received a follow up phone call with a nice nurse only 2 hours later to confirm and ask questions about my health. The clinic was easy to find, they followed covid procedures well and the nurse even called me as I was signing in to confirm I was on my way. The receptionist was also friendly. They saw me earlier than my appointment as I was ten mins early and they were very prompt and punctual. The nurse was so kind and helpful. She called the doctor to check my outstanding medication was compatible with the local anaesthetic which only took a few mins, and they are both very understanding and professional. The nurse walked me through the whole procedure before starting and explained everything clearly and thoroughly, made polite small talk to distract me during the procedure and made sure I didn’t feel any pain or discomfort during. She also offered more anaesthetic if I needed it. Her instructions in regards to aftercare of the procedure were also helpful. 10/10 recommend going here, especially if your GP has a long wait time. I can’t speak for other people’s experiences but mine was great. Thank you Nottingham NHS doctors, nurses and receptionists for the great experience, and in particular the staff who helped me!
