The actual coach station as well is perfectly functioning. But that's the only reason it's getting a few generous stars.nnThe mens toilets however are absolutely DISGUSTING . I've been coming here for years now each time the toilets are totally blocked and essentially unusable. The cleaners need to be far more active in cleaning them!!!
An imposing art deco building in the heart of London. Seems out of place really from the other buildings so hard to miss. A short 5 min walk from Victoria tube station. National Express connections to all over the UK. Improvements can be made to signage and information boards. Still convenient.
Exit main train station following signs for coach station. Once outside train station there is zero signage for coaches!! Turn left & walk for 10 mins, coach station is on opposite side of rd. Inside coach station is very hot, crowded and little info. Be prepared to sit on the floor to wait for bus, several different buses use each gate number.
It is always better to book online tickets to avoid the slow queue at the ticket counter. Overall, the station is clean and the gates are easy to find. There are many waiting seats, several refreshments shops, cash points, and toilets. Toilet costs £0.30 pp. You can leave your luggage at luggage storage facilities for £3.50 per item for a maximum of two hours, or £5.50 for 24 hours. Of course, you’ll find this station always crowded.
I wanted to write this review to convey a point to National Express.nnYour buses are old. If you cannot replace them, them, please at least repair them.nnI took a weekend trip to Isle of Wight from London and it was a disaster. The bus lacked any shock absorber and the whole way I was oscillating from side to side and my stomach churning. Towards the end of journey, felt like throwing up.nnPlease repair shock absorbers of these buses. I implore you.
