Colindale station is a busy station as there are so many new houses being built next to the station it has brought more passengers to this station. The station is due for a major refurbishment with lifts to be installed and more ticket barriers and bigger ticket hall soon.

After closing the station for six months, when the station was finally opened, I was surprised to see minor changes at a level where I couldn't tell what had changed. The environment is difficult for people with children, with no lifts or even escalators.nFrom a Japanese point of view, construction is slow and I still feel that the UK is a developing country.nnWere they on teatime for six months?

It was very old. Finally it is being renewed.

This is an absolute disaster! With the closure of the station for reconstruction the city council didn’t bother to organise a well functioning substitute! The buses which are suppose to be a “replacement” don’t even stop at Colindale as they are packed! The schedule is a mess and there is no way you will be getting to work anytime before 10-10:30, absolute joke!

Clean station. But busy most of the time.
