We visited Chesterfield today and so glad we discovered this cafe. We actually had a drink when we got off the train and later went in for lunch. Very friendly staff and lovely food at excellent prices.
This place is clean and warm, and the staff are always polite and friendly. Food is always fresh and it is cooked when it is requested. I appreciate value for money, and enjoy my visits to the Cafe. Regards from Neal
Worst veggie brekky ever. Food tasted like the pan/griddle hadn't been cooked in 50 years. Not convinced they cook the meat separately so not really vegetarian. Shame, staff were lovely.
Really wanted to love this place. Had pie n chips today. Both were really tough to cut . Fantastic and friendly service but me n my partner have spent the rest of the day needing to be near the loo. Bloated, bubbling tummies. Coffee was great, but will avoid the food next time. Really disappointed because they seem lovely people.
The owners are fantastic lovely food
Not taking card payments in this day and age?.Gave up and went to the Burlington instead.
A very nice cafe with cheap food for a quick lunch. I will definitely be coming back again.
They do great breakfasts
Friendly staff food is lovely
Just to start off with its not even worthy of a 1 star rating but had to give it one, they are nothing but rude, very cramped and just felt like we wasn’t wanted in there, came in with a pram and the typical regulars in there staring at me struggling to get the pram in there past the tables and didn’t make any attempts to help then continue to make us feel very unwelcome and even staff was very rude, sat down and was being stared at and spoke about so didn’t hang around and up and left, not very happy at all.
