The receptionist was very friendly, professional and welcoming. The vet was absolutely lovely, made my puppy Annie feel very comfortable and happy. Explained things in detail to me. Also said we was welcome to come anytime to see the receptionist for a cuddle and treat to get my puppy used to coming to the vets. Overall cannot fault them. Absolutely amazing.
Had been phoning since 8am to keep getting cut off - to find that the phone lines were down sent a message on Facebook & the kind receptionist called me back. Managed to get a same day appointment and saw the lovely vet called Maddy. She was caring, compassionate, understanding and was very thorough, explained everything clearly. Yes, the prices are quite expensive but isn't everything these days . Personally I think it's worth every penny if it gets your pet out of pain. Keep up the good work!
Everyone was very friendly and pleasant, my cat got through her jabs and an operation on her teeth quite happily and only disliked the short car journey. Update: We've now been coming here for a few months - several times a month as we now have 6 cats who are all registered and on care plans so we have had 6 vaccinations, 5 microchips, 3 castrations, 1 spaying, 1 vet appointment because one kitten had a lump which was most likely a reaction to his 1st jab, and numerous visits to apply flea and worm treatments and for mani/pedis. The staff are still very friendly and the cats hardly even mew on the way there anymore so they obviously approve
Best vets by far! Wouldn’t trust anyone else with my pets. All the staff at Vets4pets Sutton In Ashfield are amazing and friendly, I’m very passionate about my pets and I always feel very listened to and my questions are always answered and things are always explained amazingly. I deal more with Steph who sees my rats and couldn’t ask for anyone better to make sure my rats are always in great health she great and I feel as though she always goes above and beyond
This is our third visit to the practice now having moved from another practice with our 2 cats. Vets4pets sutton provides much more value than the previous vets we were at - we feel listened to and that our cats are well cared for, we are presented with various options for their treatment and things are explained very well. Have seen 3 different vets - Steph, Juan & Tess and been very pleased with the service from all 3 : thank you!
I was informed of a deceased cat which was discovered on the road very near Vets4Pets. I believe all animals and their owners should be treat respectfully and with kindness especially in these circumstances. My concern was of the possibility of reuniting the cat with its owner. I called Vets4Pets and said I’d seen kn Facebook that a cat was deceased on the same road and asked if it had been handed in. I was very abruptly informed that they hadn’t dealt with their emergencies yet and they didn’t go out looking for deceased cats. I tried to explain that I had seen it on Facebook and if it had not yet been moved I could go and collect it to which she interrupted me and said they didn’t have time to sit looking through Facebook for deceased cats. I tried a final time to explain that all I was asking is if the cat had been handed in to save me coming to look if it wasn’t there. To which age appeared to soften a little. I said knowing that it’s not been handed in I will go and look. I managed to find the cat and took it in. When I arrived herself and her colleague were sat chatting on reception, which I understand she is there to be a receptionist however, the story she told me was basically “too busy”. I didn’t ask them to go out looking for a cat and I didn’t appreciate her abruptness when I was showing compassion and concern. I seem to get the feeling that it may just be a job and their compassion for animals isn’t part of their role.
Was quoted £1600 for a scale and polish and wart removal. Decided this was too much so went elsewhere. First of all was told my dogs teeth aren't that bad so it doesn't really need doing, second of all the quoted around £400. This place is an absolute rip off. They tempt you in with the petcare packages which granted, does save you a few pounds, but then actual procedures are ridiculously expensive. Avoid at all costs, go to an independent vets instead
The whole experience was very friendly, professional and knowledgeable. They were absolutely amazing with us & with our puppy
The staff on reception and vets are very friendly and helpful I'm always happy with how they treat my cat I will always recommend vets for pets a great service thankyou so much
I registered with vet4pets Sutton some years ago when it first opened having previously used 2 different Sutton vets. My older dog Poppy was petrified of the vets but all the staff at vet4pets had such a lovely way of dealing with her over the years that it became much less traumatic and she would even have a tail wag for them. My younger dog has visited vets4pets from a puppy, she was chipped and spayed there and has her annual check up and vaccinations and gets excited as soon as I get in the carpark! This week we had Poppy put to sleep at vet4pets at the grand old age of 16, it was very peaceful and the staff were kind and understanding for which I am very thankful.
