Excellently well tended with easy or difficult areas to stroll, exercise or to just to sit on one of the many benches.  The cafe is excellent with hot or cold drinks, cakes etc at reasonable prices.  The staff I found to be very helpful and very pleasant.

Great Park with a nice cafe in the middle. When we went there was a nice guy in the bandstand with a drum set playing and letting passers-by have a go on the drums. Plenty of space to walk around without having to be to close to others

Unfortunately we went for a walk the day after Boxing Day, it seemed that the rest of Offerton had the same thought as well, social distancing for some was not being adhered too

Good old fashioned Victorian park. Bandstand , lily pond and a yew maze in the heart of an urban environment.The park is on a slope so not good if you aren’t particularly fit.  It is joined almost to Woodbank Park. Which is a different matter entirely.

Nice walk around Vernon park and up on to woodbank park at the top. My son loved banging on the drums that had been donated to the bandstand

Quiet walk whilst waiting for medical appointment was in order & so we found this lovely park just opposite the hospital. What a heart-lifting joy!

Lovely Victotian gardens with a fountain and lots of grassy areas. Historical park.
